Can you fence your backyard if you decide to get that house? It doesnt have to be a stray dog running around. There are a lot of big dogs that people own and they jump over fence like its nothing. Yes I would defenately be very nervous if you do get that house defenately fence your backyard if you can its not worth of risk. I would also walk around and see what kind of neighbors are around and what type of dogs. I wouldnt want to move in the house where there are a lot of big dogs living in the neighborhood.
Right now with the housing industry building so much in our area and cutting into the mountainsides...even a fence is not a guarantee of safety. We've spotted a rise in population of "hawks" who could actually swoop down and snatch a small Yorkie easily.

So, when Abby :aimeeyork & Bella :aimeeyork are in the backyard...so, is an adult to keep an eye on what's going on out there...can't take any chances!

I had seen this Friday morning and could not watch all of it. It literally stuck in my mind all w/end. This was by far one of the saddest things i ever seen/heard. It really bummed me out. Those poor people and that poor little baby. there was another video posted next to the graphic video and it was a short video of the dog running and playing and then going poo. that little guy looked so happy. I hated to know that his life was over just minutes after seeing that happy video of him. breaks my heart into a million pieces. so..........very sad. You would literally have to put me in a nuthouse if that happend to my dog right in front of me. i have no idea how one can go on having to re-live that over and over again. OMG it saddens me. :-(

Sorry.. forgot to mention it's a rent house. So no, I can't put a fence up. Obviously Franklin wouldn't be out alone... and in this neighborhood, I don't think owners will be letting their dogs out alone/unleashed either. I'm not too worried about it.

You know what, I'm an animal lover through and through, but you let some dog attack my lil one like that and I'd walked away chewed up and bloody cause I'd beat the living crap outt the attacking dog. This just rips my heart out, I almost turned it off and stopped watchin it but I wanted to know if the baby lived or not. What a sad and horrifying thing. I don't even know if the lil one was on a leash or not, but even if it was, it looked like it wouldn't have mattered anyhow. I hope they catch the owner of that dog and he or she is held responsible for the action of their dog. This just COMPLETELY SICKENS ME!! Rest in peace lil one and my thoughts and prayers go out to this family who had to go through such a horrifying thing.

Oh God, well I only looked at part of the attack and not the audio part, I am glad now I didnt, it will haunt me. That poor little baby. I hope they find her and imprison her and cease those monsters. They will do it again, if they have no already done so:(

Sorry i cant watch it either, for reasons like this i would never take mine to a Dog Park. I am paranoid just taking them for a walk as mine behave like attack dogs when they see another dog. I would have a heck of a time picking both up while they are acting like idiots:eek:
