| my babies sick i think he may have a bladder infection but not sure he wont eat-- anything- no treats either--he isnt hikeing his leg when he pees. and seems to be swollen down there.-- anyone have any advice before going to vet-- only1and a half day sick-- hes 6 yrs.old. not fixed- |

| thanks alot for your quick advice- i have antibiotic here from when i had his teeth cleaned- i thought if he did have infection- thats what the'd give him anyway-- what do u think? |

| I agree with everyone else, go to the vet while you can. No one wants the trauma (and bill) of the emergency vet over the weekend. Hope your baby feels better soon! |

| Your little guy needs to see a vet to see what meds he may or may not need. I wouldn't be giving him anything until he is checked..JMO |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Vet - asap. He could have a broken bone that is causing swelling - or who knows what. But, it's a vet trip for sure, in my book.

| I would definitely take him to the vet...They need to at the very least do a urinalysis and urine culture..Make sure they check for crystals in the urine...Maybe he has stones?

| took him to vet today- he does have stones-- i took him today and they did xray- 2 stones in his uretha-but its not completly blocked- he has surgery on wed. im scared- sure he will be fine but it just sucks- he's so little and he's my baby- {my 6 yr. old baby!!!} its goona cost 700- what a rip-- should it cost so much-- todays visit was 200 my gosh-- give us pet lovers a break. |

| omg I agree 110% give us pet lovers a break.........im so glad they found out what was wrong we are almost $1000.00 into it and still know nothing as far as I am concerned.. We are from Texas so i called Texas A&M University to get him an appt there it will be 300 miles there but I atleast wont be spinning my wheels and running up vet bills here HE CAN GO TO A SPECIALISTS AND WE CAN FIND OUT ONCE AND FOR ALL!! I am afraid to see the new bill .. We are scheduling appt tomorrow.. You can read all my posts on it just click his picture to the left and we are new here so that will familiarize you with our situation COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS that you atleast know what is going on.. Praying for you as you approach the surgery date... Praying for your baby too.. HUgs Vicki

| Make sure you have them analyze the stones!! It's vital to know what kind they are to know the proper protocol...
