I would do what your vet says, BUT I would also ask your vet if there is another vet who is an expert in this disease. And NEVER feel bad about getting a second, third, fourth, or however many you want opinion. You are entitled to the best for your baby. |
Update Briar seems to be getting a bit better. We put him on an antidepressant to improve his appetite and reduce his nausea. He is eating a bit on his own and his energy level has returned (almost to normal). He is running around and playing. We are taking him back to the vet tonight to get his kidney values checked...crossing my fingers that they are improving, but i would be shocked to find out they are worse based on the way he is acting. Will certainly keep everyone in the loop. Thanks for all your thoughts. |
