I'm so sorry Mogli is so sick. :( It sounds like you guys are doing the very best for him. I hope its something that can be cured and not kidney disease. it sounds like it just came on so suddenly so i\'m praying they can reverse the damage done.

The Dr called with bad news today. Mogli\'s platelettes are lower. He has not been eating but a few bites ... his BUN, Creatine and Phosphorous levels are up from Saturday.

They said there are more tests they can run for the platelette problem, but that the kidneys are not sustainable. We wanted to try our best and do everything we can, and it sounds like that time has come.

They are giving him a transfusion today in an effort to make him feel better.

We are driving down to get him tonight ... so he can spend some time at home before the inevitable.

When this is all over and I gather some thoughts I will post about his family time.

I\'m so sorry about Mr.Mogli. Sending prayer to you and your family, and prayer for your little guy. :( This is just so sad.

Unfortunately this update comes sooner than we had hoped. We went to get Mogli. The Dr brought him out and placed him on the ground to walk to us as usual, but Mogli just stopped, looked almost scared of where he was. Not sure footed, totally unlike him.

Ends up that the transfusion, blood pressure and high fluids combined and his retinas detached, making him blind. If that weren\'t enough, my poor baby had an upset tummy.

We decided to end his suffering tonight at 7:30pm. He didn\'t come home with us, I couldn\'t put him through any more. I held him while he went.

Give your babies an extra hug please for Mr. Mogli and his daddy.

I am so sorry.
Your boy was so loved. You fought with him to the end and then you knew when it was time.
So thoughtful and loving of you to know when it was time to let him go.
Such a terrible position for anyone to be in.
Again I am sorry.

Your Mogli was obviously well-loved and bless you for knowing when it was time and unselfishly ending his suffering. Hugs to you and your family, and RIP sweet Mogli.

It has been a really rough day :( ... I looked at some videos I have on the computer ... not enough ... pictures ... not enough :( ... very hard day ...

I want to post in the In Memory Of Section ... but I need some time I guess to figure out what to write.
