Right out of a magazine!!! Your house is HUGE!!! Good thing Yorkies are like shadows. How would you ever find her.

Eddie has the run of the house and the yard, and he uses every inch of both. The yard wasn't completely enclosed, so we bought a portable fence that sealed it off. It worked great. It's one of those 8 x 8 foot square enclosures that when opened up makes a good fence. My wife insists that Eddie sleep with us, but I notice a lot of you insist on a separate doggie bed. Any advantage/disadvantages to either?

We live in an apartmnent in NYC. She has run of it. We are looking into moving. We don't know it we are staying in NY or moving to Florida. Gucci sleeps with us in our bed and she has her bed next to ours just in case.

Maggie lives in a beatiful home with two koi/waterfall ponds. Fenced, trees, cool St. Augustine grass. She allows us to live with her for free, as her caregivers. Not a bad deal either.

Odie lives in a 1000 sq. ft. home, and believe you me, he has the run of the house and the big back yard!

Gizmo and Trinket, I have really enjoyed this thread. Thanks for starting it. Everyone has such beautiful homes. It's so fun to see everyone's pictures. Our Yorkies are really blessed!!

Iheartyorkies...awwww thank you. Just being curious. (Or nosey) I know, can you believe some of these homes that "the furbabies" have? They make slaves out of us. Right now I'm working on getting a bigger house so that they can have their own yard space.

:) Believe me, it's necessity, not choice! If it were choice, this condo would be in Florida instead of Colorado!! :rolleyes: Toto is soooo funny when we do get to go "home" ... the minute she is in the house she makes a beeline to her X-pen [I always keep a fresh wee wee pad ready] ... makes a quick pee pee and then runs laps all over the house! After that I open her "toy bag" [can't imagine what the baggage handlers think about that bag when they x-ray it! :p ] and she starts digging out toys and throwing them all around the den. Then she kinda surveys her handiwork and stretches out on the sofa and gets a pleased expression like "Life is Good" and sleeps so soundly you would almost think she was in a coma!! She is so funny!! ;)

We are hoping to be in a house by the end of the year! We live in a downtown condo for now.... Great rooftop and a view, but no yard!

We live in a house that Mike's mom got us, but I wouldnt completely consider us the "owners", just the payers lol, but I just thought it was so interesting to see how different the houses are in Arizona. I am from Texas so I am used to those pretty brick homes, here in Arizona the houses are so different and the larger ones are just as stunning in stucco and in brick. Its crazy how house styles can be so different a few hundred miles away, yet theyre all gorgeous!

p.s.- we decorated :D
oh yeah, and you cant beat Arizona sunsets :)
