You have a beautiful home!!! We just sold our condo and are currently building a house. You are sooo blessed lots of land too!!! We couldn't find a house we loved to buy so we are building instead!!! Its in a neighborhood and not a lot of land :( Oh well!!! |
Higgins and Pogo live with us in our new rolling home, a 35' fifth wheel RV. We have been in an RV since last November and bought a beautiful big new one, complete with fireplace, in January. We have sold our 5 bedroom, 3 bath house on a lake here in Maine and given all our stuff away to family and friends. Now we are FREEEEEEE of stuff and mowing, painting, paying huge property taxes, and having only one view out the living room window. We are loving exploring different areas of this beautiful country! Higgins LOVES people and really enjoys meeting new friends as we travel. He also loves showing off his frisbee skills and collects many admirers in the campgrounds we visit. This spring we had a Corps of Engineers head ranger drive 20 miles just to "see the little dog I've been hearing about that is so good at catching a frisbee." |
Must be nice  Wow that sounds like soooo much fun. Not a worry in the world except gas prices. Where are you now? |
We all live in an apartment but it's a big apartment - 4 bedrooms and very open. We have a yard, but we don't use it - it's not fenced it. We take long walks every night. The good news is that the landlords (my boyfriend's parents own the house - but since I pay them rent they are always referred to as the landlords) are putting up fencing in the yard and even making a little play area for the dogs (My bf's brother lives downstairs and he has a min pin). I can't wait!! |
My girls and I still live with my parents and I am not afraid to say that I plan on living here as long as they will let me...the girls get tons of love from everyone and I get free room and board!!! What could be better...we live in a suburb of Dallas and love our neighbors (who also has a yorkie) and all the free roam of the neighborhood...we take the girls for a walk almost every night and once a day they get to have free roam of the back yard (it is so big we have to really watch them so they don't get lost or hurt)!!! I am defintely very lucky to have such great parents....and the girls are especially luckly to have wonderful grandparent!!!! |
Yes, we have a yard. Not a big one, but one that can keep several yorkies happy. |
We live in a big 4 bedroom home with a modestly sized fenced in yard on Chicago's southwest side. Hopefully we'll be moving to NYC, Boston or DC next year! (apartment I'm sure!) |
2 Attachment(s) We built our dream house almost 2 years ago. We used to live in a 900 sq ft. cape cod and now we live in a 4000 sq ft. house on a private cul-de-sac with 11 rooms 2 1/2 acres and we just opened our new pool. It's a lot to clean and take care of but I love it here. I'm hoping we're here a long time! Brutus tries but doesn't have the run of this house yet! :) |

Bronx and Zowie (and the babies) have run of our house, 2 stories, 3000 sq ft. They have their own room (the front living room). They are usually caged at night. Bronx sleeps with my son a lot now, because of the babies. We have a 1/2 acre fenced back yard with a pool. We try gently to teach them to swim to the steps, but they really don't like to swim. They have fallen in a few times, so they can't go outside without taking a person with them. But they love the yard, it is fenced into 3 yards and they run and chase each other and the cats. |
3 Attachment(s) Sophie has complete run of our 5,000 sq ft home in the country. We built our dream home a few years ago and hope we will be happy here forever! We have 5 acres but the backyard has a pool and is fenced. She loves running around, chasing bugs and frogs and rolling in the grass and wildflowers :) |
Toto actually lives in a house [we have a home in Alabama] and a condo. Our work requires us to travel and presently we are in Grand Junction, CO and although the condo is OK [2 br/2bath], and has an enclosed courtyard where Toto can play "outside" .... when we are in Alabama, she just runs & runs all over the house until her tongue hangs out!! :) Yorkies do enjoy their "space"!! ;) |
