I have 2. They are brother and sister, but Hootie is from a later litter. We wanted another yorkie that would be as much like Hobbs as possible because he is a perfect fit for our family. Hootie has also beed a perfit fit for our family. I could not have asked for 2 better furbabies. :) And yes, one reason, but not the ONLY reason, we got Hootie is so Hobbs would have a friend and playmate. |

Well technically at the moment we have 7 ::chuckle:: But I don't think litters count ;) We had 2, Bender and Tara. They had their first litter on Sept. 6th, and my husband whined and cried until I agreed to keep one. So now...3 dogs in bed with us when Leia gets older. I'm sure all on my side of the bed! Not that I don't mind a good cuddle, but 3 puppies and a human....they'll probably be pushing me off the bed a lot! Bender fights me for my pillow as is. :p |

I only have 1 Yorkie but I also own a Maltese and I have a Chihuahua who will be coming home in November. PS - I had another little Yorkie girl, Katie, who passed away almost 1 year ago. Rest in peace little princess. :( Mommy loves you. |

Only one.:aimeeyork Buddy and I are a team. We only need each other. At first I thought of getting a second for company when I was not home but he has settled into our routine nicely. So I'll leave well enough alone for now.:) |

Well, I'll be I'm surprised at this poll. From the postings, I thought I was one of the few that had only 1 Yorkie and I was beginning to think I was wrong & feel sort of sorry for myself. This poll shows that I am actually in the majority. I guess those with more than one just must post more than the rest of us. Maybe with more Yorkies they have learned more answers. :) |
I have only one as well. Looking to adopt another one soon!! Stedman is too cute!! I like his hair cut. Very cute. :) |
There's Only One Princess In This House I have one Yorkie - Gracie, one Chihuahua, and three cats. Some day I will get another Yorkie - but no time soon. |
I have 2 yorkies. Tootie is a big boy of 16 lbs... Hope is a precious baby of 3 1/2 lbs.... they absolutely njoy each other... I have 3 other pups, Tinker, TBone and Laci..... would have more but have a full house now.... |

I have two male yorkies, but I would love a little girl. Gonna take some work to convince the hubby though. He says we need to buy a king sized bed now, because the boys take up so much room.:) |
Two count here.... Chloe's birthday was July 2nd, she got a sister:p , I went overboard during her first year and there was nothing else I could get her she didn't have! Not really, she was experiencing the beginning of separation anxiety, so I bought her Sissy as a Rx:) We both love her to pieces - it was the best decision I ever made :the beginning :aimeeyork I now have piece of mind when I must leave:) |

I have 3 , i wish i could have more, but i also have 2 other dogs and 4 cats so i think thats enough for anyone LOL ill have to content myself with the odd foster yorkie that i look after from my local shelter:) |
1-is not really all I need :D but oh well... I'm thinking about getting a little sister for Pepper once he gets older, maybe next summer??:) |
