What Is A Name?
 
As you guys already know, I'm adopting China!! YAYAYAYAYAY!! I'm soooooo thrilled! But in the meantime, I need to come up with a name that fits her appearance (she's sooooo cute) and her personality. I won't make a definite decision just yet because I want to wait until I meet her in person. But just to get a head start, let me know what names you like so far. And suggestions are VERY welcome! I'm open to all sorts of names!!

I forgot to mention that I like to give my babies middle names. So feel free to mix and match the names I already posted or add new ones!

PS - I just love the name Lola! :) :)

For some reason Lulu is standing out as a super cute name for a tiny little chi. :) I didn't know it was YOU adopting China until just now so CONGRATS!!!! You'll give her such a wonderful home and I'm super excited to hear about this! Yaay! You've got a lot to look forward to, for sure! My next door neighbor has a tiny chi (that looks just like Shana's Tink) and her name is Lola.

All of my animals have middle names too. I think it gives them character. By the way I love the name Lola too. How about Lola Ava or Lola Ann?
I was going to name my Lola "Zoey" but ended up liking Lola Larue better.:D

Oh to steal from above, how about Lola Lelani?

:thumbup: Lulu is a really cute name! Every time I tell people my Chi's names, they laugh out loud! Chis need cutesy little names, because they are so teeeeeeny tiny. I had to name my girl chi Cinderelly, because you know in the Disney Movie, Cinderella, the little mice are all singing the "Cinderelly, Cinderelly" song- she was soooooo cute and tiny like one of those little mice when she was a baby, I thought it would just go perfect!! Lulu!!!:thumbup:

Yes she needs a CUTESY name! Something that I can make a lot of nick names out of. For example, I call Tia:

Tee Tee
Tee Ta Mouses
Mrs. Mouses
Mousey Princess
Tee Ta Boo Boo Bunny

And with Codie, I call him:

Coda Lee Lee
Coda Bunny Buns
Coda Falafel
Master Coda (From Star Wars' Master Yoda LOL)

I need a cutesy little name that I can work with. :) :)

Also--- I agree with the middle name thing too! They HAVE to have middle names!! Bubbles middle name is Wubbles. Cinderelly's full name is Cinderelly Princess Bride! haha! The more names the BETTER!! (only doggie owners understand this, isnt that funny??)

my cats name is bailey, but we usualy call him baby, poo, poop, pooper scooper, pansy, and my dad calls him jerk because bailey won't go anywhere near him, its so funny. LOL i just had to add this in here since you were talking about nicknames. we rarely call him bailey unless he's in trouble, kinda like you do with kids. call them by their full name when somethings wrong.

I think you should name her Bijoux or Bijou (bees-shew) But more french sounding... you get the idea... lol;)

Its French and means Jewel or Tiny Trinket

You could call her:

Bijou Bee
Bijou Buns
Bijou Berry
Bijou Baby
Bijou Bunny

I could go on and on and on..... lol

Or you could just go nuts and say... Bijou Bijou Bijou!! It sounds great said in threes!! In a kind of whishey voice... :p I had a Tiny little Poodle I loved to death nammed Bijou!!! I almost nammed Paris Bijou.

I like emma rose or lola by iteself but lola always reminds me of a great girl bulldog name thansk to the osbornes. I also like the name sophia ( I knwo it wasnt a choice, but I just want to throw it in there because she looks very elegant like a sophia) :p

I LOVED giving my baby a middle name, they are our children, why not give them middle names? it distiguishes them....I love the name Lola, of course, my sweetpea is named that, I just think it is such a sweet name. Her middle name is Calhoun, because I wanted something southern-sounding. She is registered as "Miss Lola Calhoun" But of course she gets called "sweetie", "honey", and "baby girl" as well :D

Im kinda partial to the name Cali :D I named my Cali after my boyfriend and I took a vacation out there last summer. I fell in love with it, so Cali it was :D

Do you think Ann would be a good middle name for Cali? Do you have another suggestion for a middle name? I LOVE Cali but I'm still trying to decide if I like Ann as a middle name. Help! :p :p

I think a two syllable name sounds good with a three syllable middle name..one of my choices for Cali was Cali Isabel..but instead Im going to send in her papers as Sweet California Girl. Good luck choosing something! :D

What Is A Name
 
I just wanted to suggest a name I liked(but didn't go over with the family too well)

Romy (as in Romy & Michelle). I can just picture a cute little girl named Romy.

Jamie Oliver(the naked chef) named his little girls(human, not fur baby) Daisy Boo and Poppy Honey. I always thought those would be good puppy names as well.
