What time does your Yorkie wake up? Hey everyone, I just thought it would be interesting to see if Peach is the only one who is awake at 5am every morning or if it is a Yorkie trait! We have had her for 3 weeks now and every morning between 4:45 and 5:15 am she is awake, I take her outside she does her morning poop and then is hyper puppy until about 8am when she goes down for her morning nap! How about your furbaby? |
7:30 :d |
Sophie is 18 months and she gets up at 5:45 every morning. That is what time my husband gets up for work. I tell my husband all the time that he doesn't need an alarm clock. I just wish we could turn Sophie's alarm off on the weekends. LOL! |
Alright...who put after 9am and HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!? |
Cali use to get up at 5 every morning when she was 2-6 months old now she goes to 6 but lately she will go under covers for an hour and play with my feet. I finally don't have to work anymore and i have to get up for her!!!lol |
Tiger is an early riser . .about 5:00am . . .wanting his walk and food :D Annika on the other hand will sleep all day long, provided I am in bed with her. |
early riser Starsky has been up between 5:00 and 5:30 since he was a puppy. My husband gets up at 5:30 in the morning so that probably has trained Starsky to get up. I get up with Starsky M-F and my husband gets up with him Saturday and Sunday, so I can sleep in. Isn't he the best husband?:snore: |
Lola will pretty much stay in bed for as long as you are in there.:) She will sometimes get up with my bf at about 5:00-5:30, then she comes back to bed when he leaves. If I decide to sleep in until 9:00 or 10:00 so will Lola. She does not like to be woken up so I usually have to drag her out of bed. Sometimes she gets up goes to get a drink or to pee, then runs right back to bed. She is like her Momma and is definitely not a morning person/doggy. |
Cowboy gets up every morning at 7:30 to go outside and potty. Then he will go back to sleep until 9:30. |
romeo gets up when the sun comes up. he goes pee pee then falls asleep again. i don't mind. he's a good boy and i have to pee early too.:) |
LOL. They're on our schedule, so they sleep till 11. Of course, they're up with us until 3 or 4 too! |
Rob always got me up in the night for a pee so would then sleep in until we woke. 6am mon-fri and may be around nine weekends. Getting up in the night was quick he would scratch the side of the bed I would wake come down and let him out the back, he would fly to the bottom of the garden do his wee's or poops and race back to the house to bed. He'd jump on the bed and snuggle until he was warm then would get in his own bed leaving me with a wet patch if it had been raining. I miss that now he has gone to rainbow bridge.:animal36 |
On these cold mornings she doesn't want to get up at all! She looks at me as though I am mad to get up,rushes out for a wee and curls up in bed again while i have a shower. When she was tiny, she got up much earlier and was ready to play at 4.30 in the morning! Now it's cold and dark, she snuggles in. We both love the weekends when we can go back to bed and cuddle up.Eventually, she starts to torment the cats and I know it is time to get up! She goes to bed with me at 10.30 or 11pm so is pretty much on my schedule now. |
Bailey is a sleeper, he gets up when I get up, no matter how late I wanna sleep in on the weekend, he always has. On workdays I get up, he stays in beds, sometimes I gotta drag him out of bed so we can go to work.. |
My girls get up at around 6am every morning to potty and then it is back to bed for them...sometimes they will sleep for a while and other times they are right back up to play!!! |
6am there is lexi scratching the heck out of my head.. get up mommy now just get up. i havent slept in a year....this weekend a year since i got her.. i just want to sleep i tell her.. she says no mommy, just get up before i scratch you head really hard again.. |
Mine wake up around when I do. But, I'm on summer break time (around 9-ish) and they are still on work time (6-7). |
Rosi goes outside around 7 am sometimes later, then when we come inside she goes back to sleep for an hr or two, depending whats going on around the house or how the weather is.... |
Chewbacca FINALLY sleeping through the night (most nights anyway :) ) He gets up with me at 5:30. |
Pixie will get up around 5am to use her pad, but then she'll come right back to bed and stay there until I get up (She doesn't care about when hubby gets outta bed! lol). During the week I'm up some time between 6 and 6:30, but on weekends we've been known to sleep as late as noon! |
All my dogs get up when I do. It depends on the day what time I get up. Sometimes it between 6am and 7am and others its between 7-9am |
Between 5:00 and 5:15...every morning, seven days a week. They go potty, have a drink of water and play until around 7:00, then quiet down again. Just so I can't get any sleeping in days!! |

Coco is the same way, she will sleep as long as I do. I love that. She does occasionally wake up at 7 to pee and then try to get me to play with her, but I tell her "SLEEP" and she'll lay down and curl up on my face :p Yes literally, she sleeps ON my face. I love it. |
Hallie and Simon get up at 6:30 regardless of day or me :) Hallie likes to stick her tongue up my nose and if that doesn't work she'll start digging at my back. About that time Simon will crawl up on me and give Hallie her morning kisses. Then it's time for breakfast! They are cranky until they eat, kind of like me before coffee :) |
Bright and early 6 am every morning. I feed him, let him play with his brothers for about an hour, and can usually get him to go back to bed from 7:30-10:00 |
Ever since she started sleeping on our bed, Mia wakes up at 6:00. She wakes me up by licking my face and wagging her entire body very excitedly. Always me, never hubby. She goes potty, and then we either go back to sleep or go downstairs and prepare breakfast :) |
around 7:30 every morning |
i am not sure if it is because layla is still a puppy ( 6 months ) but i usually have to wake her up in the morning (around 10:30) although on a normal night we are usually up twice to pee! so maybe she isnt' getting a full night sleep.. but she sure can be a lazy pup! |
