I googled this Web sight that talks about overweight dogs, and now I'm stressing about Eddie's weight. He looks like the 'fat' example to me, with no hips. Check it out, and scroll down to the illustrations. Is Eddie fat? Is your dog overweight? (See attached poll)

:confused: I don't think Eddie's overweight. I think he's average. My vet says Tiggers average but I think he's too skinny. What do you all think?

I guess it's hard to tell on Yorkies. I don't see noticeable hips on Tigger either, but he's definitely more compact. He's definitely cute, too.

One vet told me Baby was fine, and another vet told me she was a little chubby. I like her chubby belly. Like Mommy like furbaby! :rolleyes:

I think you've been looking a Jack too long. Compared to Jack, Eddie looks big. But I think they are both cute! :D

I found the poll hard to answer as by breed standard Pippa is overweight she is 8lbs but i dont think to look or feel that she is. ;)

I really thought Bailey was, then he got groomed,and she really shaved his body,and he's not at all, It was all hair. :rolleyes:

Eddie is adorable. He's not fat!! That other dog looks like a sausage roll!! Eddie does not!! :p

my puppy's not "fat", he's "festively plump". hahaha.
according to my vet, bunjee's weight is perfectly fine for his size. and i think a better way to check out a yorkie's shape per the diagram is to see them during a bath/shower. then you're not fooled by the abundance of hair. ;)

My Gabby girl is a "plus size girl":) She thinks she's beautiful the way she is (and so do I). Great pole and thread:)

i think lexi is alittle over weight but who knows, i cut out alot of her snacks.

I meant to spell that out a little better. I wasn't talking breed standard weight. Just overweight or underweight for their frame size.

And, thanks, Thorsmomma, I guess I won't cut out his treats just yet.

Eddie is NOT overweight. I'd say he's average.
