I too was thinking of this and hoping we were going to do it again this year. I have very little family left and getting these Christmas cards really makes my holidays brighter. |

I skipped it last year, but think I will rejoin. Bob everyone is responsible to send to around 5 cards but many send to the whole list or at least to people they interact with. Most years I received around 25 cards. The majority of the cards are the type you have made at the drug store or on vista print and have photos of members dogs. One year I made 30 homemade cards with multiple pics and decorations. LOL I bit off way to much work so the next year I wound up having them printed at Vista Print for a very good price only their lead time is about 3 weeks so you have to start preparing well in advance. I have to say starting around Dec 1st going to the mailbox is very exciting. So start getting your photos and cards done soon. |

It sounds like fun. Toni is very busy but I will have to see if I can get her help. She is GREAT at making cards. |
I would like to make a suggestion. If the person organizing it is a good typer perhaps they can send the list typed on an avery label template. Myself and many others typed up the names and then printed address labels. It's really no more work because the list has always been typed anyway, so the only difference is to type them on a template. I think Thuy used to type it on an excel spread sheet. You could also ask the person when sending their name in to use this format Donna Blain 7044 Main Street Oakland, MI 48324 Then all the coordinator has to do is copy and paste into the Template. would be willing to sort of assist with that if necessary. |

How did the golf outing go? |
The golf outing went very well. We had 84 golfers and we were able to raise $1,125.00 for the Wounded Warrior Project. All 84 golfers came back to my back yard for the awards dinner and we had a great dinner and party. Took 2 days to get rid of the hangover! I am getting old! https://fundraise.woundedwarriorproj...idual/24880225 |

I sure hope so! I have really enjoyed the card exchange the last two years and I've already started making my cards for this year. My theme this year is the Peanuts gang and my little Yorkie - Boogie. (1950s style) I even ordered vintage gift wrap to make the envelopes. |
