I have confirmed with the post office today and it has increased; a standard letter or card to Canada is now $1.15 USD.

Thanks for checking that out. Do you know how many Canadians are in the card exchange right now? Just trying to do a little preplanning...

At this moment we have one member. There is still one more week before sign up closes, so we may or may not have more.

Oh my gosh that's awesome...I haven't even taken pictures yet...ugh spent all weekend decorating still have two trees left to decorate the real one and another one I thought we needed on the porch lol :D

Just to let everyone know, I'm leaving in a week for my wedding and will be gone for 2 weeks so I won't be able to thank anyone right away. Also, my cards won't go out until rather late. Unless, I somehow get them all out before I leave (not high on my to do list honestly). Have a good card exchange!

Got all of my envelopes addressed (and a cramped hand lol)...gonna try to get them in the mail today or tomorrow. I have a few extra cards I'd love to send out if anyone missed the sign-up deadline and would still like an Xmas card...just shoot me a PM :)

Holiday Card Exchange 2015
 
Just was wondering if anyone knew if we will be having the Holiday card exchange this year? I know it's a lot of work organizing this and a lot of hard work and time goes into it! I have so appreciated it every year and enjoy all the beautiful furbabies! Holidays are around the corner and Walmart even has Christmas trees up lol! Anyways, hugs and puppy kisses just thought I would ask and if I've missed a thread my apologies 💕

This has been my absolute favorite thing about yorkie talk, hands down. I would love to participate again. Lexipoo pic is adorable btw! :love:

Thanks, mine too we love it! Even Lexi gets excited to go to the mailbox lol my hubby enjoys it too! I know it's early but I was so hoping we would do it again!

Yes, we will. We had a couple members volunteer to hold the card exchange last year. I've contacted the first member who volunteered to make sure they are still interested in holding it. Regardless, we'll have one as its one of my favorite events as well. :)

Lots of fun and beautiful cards of our precious furbabies :-) there are threads that explain it very well. Not great at attaching links sorry. Hopefully someone will explain it better. We have been doing it for quite a few years now and I have all the cards we look through them every year...little Lexi loves seeing them! I am so happy we will be doing it again...

I am sorry to hear about max's incident Bob, I just ran across that thread today :( The card exchange is so much fun :) after sign up, we all email our information to the host/hostess and she creates a master list. It is sent out to each participant and we are required to send a holiday card to, I believe the five people below us (?) on the list. Many people choose to send a card to more than five however and most of those holiday cards are pictures of our pups! Really a great joy to give and receive holiday cards.
