Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Poll: How many pictures do you take in a year? I recently had my camera cleaned and I was half-embarrassed when the tech told me he looked up how many pictures I've taken on it. In less than 4 years, I've taken 75,000 pictures on my Canon T1-I, and I'm on pace for 80,000 pictures in four years. That's 20K a year! When you toss in iphone pictures, I'm guessing I'm looking at more than 25K a year! Can someone say, "Get a life?!" How many pictures would you say you take in the average year? I'm gonna vote 12,001 to 24,999

| I'm right there with ya! But not nearly "that" many. I need a spot between 100 and 1000, say maybe 300 per month

| I take a bazillion, but after deleting the 5 out of 6 that don't look right, probably < 200-300 monthly. I do TAKE > 1000 monthly, just dont keep.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Oh, yeah, I keep just a fraction of the 80K I take a year. More than half are deleted immediately, and I whittle down from there.

| Sadly, I take few pictures. I'm not good at multi-tasking with the camera. I just live in the moment and then regret not having photos. Having very few photos of the doggies is my biggest regret.

| I feel similarly, about everything, my children and family members, life phases, my sweet Lilah charm, my beautiful angora goats- but then if I take the pictures I have a hard time processing them and they die in an old disposable camera or a broken phone that I dropped in my coffee cup. Sadness. Honestly, shutterfly has been helping me bring my pictures to life and I am now inspired to get one of those ''make your iphone camera better' lenses that attach to your phone- there is hope yet!

| you mean how many pics do you take in a DAY lol. when I am at home I have my smart phone on me at all times, Between taking pics of my silly lil boy trying to attack the ceiling fan, outdoor pic, I average daily 30 + daily, if I am taking a day trip I take the digital. Gezzzz I would have to guesstimate 12 to 18,000 a year and 99.9 are kept.

| I am on the high end but not as high as you. I said 12,000 a year. I use my camera at every one of my sons football games which I know is well over 1,000 a month. I also use to photograph my girls, my family, and even school related functions. I never took so many until I got my new camera! I love it and love using it! I have taken some awesome pictures of my son on the football field.

YT Addict | I would take more pictures if I had any talent with a camera. But honestly I rot. I hope to take a course in photography if I can afford it someday. I really need someone to teach me how to use a camera properly and stop expecting my cell phone to get all the precious shots with. I also have a little Nikon L26 but it really doesn't do that well...or again, I am not using it correctly.

| I usually take about 1,000 per month. Of those, maybe 3 are worth keeping, but I keep around 20. I love digital pics. I hated paying for rolls of film to get developed only to find out there wasn't a single good pic on the roll. I have hardly any clear good photos of my last yorkie, Chelsea, and that's one of my greatest regrets.

| Honestly I am probably similar. I end up deleting a lot but I take a LOT. One day out in the backyard alone, in one evening, I ended up with 400 pictures. Narrowed it down to probably 200 by the end of it. With the action shots of kids and dogs, I often have to delete blurred pics or too-far-away pictures. But overall I do take a LOT.

| Hrmmmm, I think I just took 3-4k on the last trip we went on, but after I deleted a lot I'm down to maybe 2k on the big camera. I probably take at least a couple pictures a day on my cell. But unless I'm on a trip or doing a doggie photo shoot I really don't get the big camera out. So I'm going to say 12k or so a year.
