I Love Thor Donating Member | Blow Dry/Air Dry I was just wondering if people blow dried their yorkies hair after bath time or just let them air dry afterwards. I usually let Thor's hair air dry (he hates the blow dryer) but I have blown him dry twice and I think his hair is silkier after a blow dry rather than air dry... |

| Bell goes oh natural!! She hates the blow dryer too! The groomer dries her with a dry, but she doesn't go there often

| I blow dry Ciera. She just sticks her head under my arm and curls up in my lap, so I get her pretty dry.

| I let them air dry for about 15 minutes then I spray a light leave in conditioner and finish with the blow dryer. It seems their hair is shinyer and silkier looking that way.

| For all you guys with dogs that let you blow dry... HOW DO YOU DO IT?? Starsky is a black bullet after his bath!! Up on furniture, off from furniture, around the table, into the kitchen.....aaaah!! He's crazy!!!!!!!!!! I even have to have a treat in my hand to get him to sit still to brush him and that is a feat in itself!!! Great job for all of you who have calm yorkies!! I just gave Starsky a bath tonight and I wondered what he was like at the groomers after a bath?? By the way, how do you wash a yorkie's face? I always kind of get it wet and that is it, but I can't get all the stickies out all the time.

| Gus rolls around rubbing his face on the towel for 5-10 minutes and then I blow dry him. I'm always worried he will get cold if I don't. TeddyBear, I just rub a little tear less shampoo between my finger, then kind of pick up the hair on his face and work it in.

| My dogs usually go to the groomer once a week. Sometimes I'm so busy I can't make it there so I bathe them myself. I blow dry both of them. Only because my boyfriend always has it cold in here and I don't want them to get sick! Lacy hates the blow dryer, but I have to do it. After a few minutes she's fine. Cruz loves it though! He just sits there and falls asleep!!! |
