My Little girl likes clothes. My little boy dont. But we still dress him up some times.

Don't have Yorkie yet, but started to buy clothes! Was thinking of having a "Yorkie SHower" :D

Well, I have 2 sons but I've always wanted a girl. When I got Desi, she has become the girl I never had. I have a little bureau with 4 drawers dedicated to her clothes. I have more bows, barettes, and jewerly for her than she would ever get to wear. But, I am having a ball getting her all these things. My sons are 30 & 26 yrs old, they are off on their own.. I guess I could say that Desi is my hobby.. The good thing is that Desi loves getting dressed.. She always has.

Yes I do have clothes for Deegan, but he really has to be in the mood to wear them. He doesn't mind his shirts, sweaters or track suits. But for some reason he hates his coat. Whenever I put it on him to keep him warm while going out to do his business, he shows up back at the door without it!

My Brie already has 6 outfits and I have only had her for 2 weeks. She is already spoiled rotten. The next t-shirt I buy her should say that!!!

Katie has tons of outfits now! When she was a younger puppy I couldnt find anything that fit her! She was one pound when we got her! She hates all her outfits except a green t-shirt, she seems to love wearing that one. I wish doggie clothes didnt tangle her hair so bad :(

Since Bailey comes to work with me,,, he has his DRESS clothes and his play clothes,,, he can't be coming to work ( he IS the greeter) in ratty ol' clothes, or sweaters with those balls all over them, he has a JOB to do, he has to be presentable, He IS the first impression of our business, he can were his old holey stuff at home, for play, but not to work! :D

Layla only wears clothes when it is cold out. We live in Ontario Canada so she needs it to stay warm in the winter.

This poll is almost 6 years old and it's only 3 pages long? I wonder if more people dress their dogs now?

Joey's breeder said that Yorkies often need clothing because they don't have the double coat of fur like most dogs, she added, "When you need a sweater so does he". We started out with just a few sweaters and hoodies, and then he needed a hockey jersey, and a football jersey. Of course, special holiday clothes are a must; it's really chilly here in Arizona!

I'll bet more are dressing their dogs now. Each year more dog clothing websites open up. It's become an industry (dog clothing) continuing to expand each year and, I don't see the trend slowing down any time soon.

I started out saying, I would never be one of *those* people...hahaha...famous last words around here, as I look into Ruby's full sized, dress-lined closet.:p

I use to think dressing dogs was silly too, and then I ended up buying a fishing jacket and hat before I even brought him home. :p

I took an old entertainment center and I am redoing it so that it will fit all my babies things. I wanted a one stop kind of place. ;)

I will post pics as soon as it is done.

Yes, I do put a harness vest on Copper when we go out to walk. It is easier than trying to get him into a harness. 2 velcros, a leash and we are gone! He gets excited when I get one of them out because he knows he is going somewhere. He also wears them in the car as I can leash the harness to his seat and know he is relatively safe.

It is winter here (yes, even in So. CA :cool:) and my husband likes to keep the heat down so Copper wears a sweater or t-shirt. He doesn't mind at all. I took one out yesterday and set it down on the couch, he picked it up and brought it to me. He makes me laugh! I never, never thought I would be "dressing" a dog!:)

Good old Target' best for clothes, Its also cold in Philly.
