				 | I paid $2000. I almost didn't get her because I thought it was a lot of money for a dog.. Now, I feel she is priceless, I don't even want to think that I almost didn't buy her. |

| I Love Thor Donating Member | I got Thor as a brithday present. My mom told me that she paid so much that she couldn't tell me. She said that some day she would finally let me know. I don't think that he was over $1000, but that is a lot of money to us. He is the best thing ever, and of course priceless to me! |

				 | I paid $900 w/full AKC for my Piper Cub. Found a male cheaper but fell in LOVE with Piper so the extra money was worth it. I'll get my girl from the same breeder in the future. She'll be $1200 I believe.

				 | We paid 500€ for Bender. We found him shivering at a pet store, very small and scared, and had to save him. We lived in Austria at the time, and Bender was born in the Czech Republic. When we bought him we were given no pedigree paperwork and simply told he was 3 months old, as listed on his shot record. He weighed about a pound. We took him home, cleaned him up and then took him to get checked out at the vet a few weeks later. Well, the vet told us that, 1) Bender was only about 8 weeks old, 2) We were lucky he was alive 3) We were also lucky because he was beautifully marked and was going to be very petite in size. My husband and I felt horrible, because we had been trying to potty train him for the past week (since we figured he was almost 4 months old we took him for long walks to try to make him go outside, and it was very cold and a bit snowy). We never figured there was anything wrong with him, because even though he was miserable in the pet shop, a couple days after we brought him home he was well on his way to becoming the sweet, energetic, snuggle machine he is today. He grew up to be very pretty and weigh just a little bit over 4# and he never changed colors, except for a bit of light color coming in around his face and paws. We have a forever puppy and it thrills us! He loves children, just wishes he could take every person on the street home with him His 2nd birthday is coming up December 15th! We are VERY lucky parents. Last edited by Bendless Love; 09-27-2005 at 08:21 AM. Reason: grammar |
