I am not very good at these polls but I thought I would try to get input from the membership on their ideas for where to hold the First Annual Yorkie Talk Convention.

If we had it in the summer some people may plan a vacation around it even it is further from where they live which is why I made California and texas options.

I wish we can have it here in Cali, but that would be hard for everyone who does not live here. Someplace in the middle I guess. This would be so nice if we all can pull this off!

I would be for Indiana. I haven't been a member long. And I never know how my hubby is going to feel which determines how far away from home I can go.

I didn't vote yet because I just don't know...I think that it would be fun if we do a YT meet up that there is one spot. If we are going to make this very special meet up, we might as well just do one so everyone could have to the chance to meet everyone. Texas is the middle, Chicago sounds fun too but not so much the middle. Okay, I'm going to vote for Texas, but Cali, or NC or FL would be nice! :confused: I'm confused! :)

What is Kansas City like in the Spring and what are the facilities like for a yorkie convention? Sell your city!!

Feel free to do the same with any other city you feel should be considered for this momentous event!!

Kansas City is beautiful in the spring! And the perfect temperature in April for a Yorkie Talk Convention! I know they have a dog park there, not sure exact location. Or maybe we could book the convention center or something like that. Would a convention center let us book it for something like this(a get together)? Anyways...they have a really nice mall and also there is a Cabela's there that is pretty cool for all the spouses that got drug along! lol!

I could give you a huge list of what is in Colorado to see!!! If we get a lot of people to come, we can even call the TV News to come out!!! Colorado is beautiful all year. It can snow one day and be hot the next and melted!!

North Texas would be great (especially for North Texans like myself :D ) - but I do think Dallas would be a wonderful location!!

So, did this ever take place???

When I was reading the recent posts about a meetup, I thought I remembered talk about a convention a year or two back...wasn't sure if it ever actually happened???

Texas!!! Dallas is a great place to do it!!! Great airport that is accessible from pretty much anywhere you're coming from. And it's a very dog-friendly city.

although Midwest is my location.. I voted Cali.. we're planning to go there next summer anyway.. and it'd be fun to go to the beach with all of our babies

I live in NYC and it would be fun if it were here but I voted Cali cause I 've never been there and I want to go so that's an excuse :p
