kisses, kisses and more kisses :kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss: !!!

It is me and Ralphies special time, I call it our "lovins". I look forward to it every single day. I am quite the sleeper and since I work from home, I don't always wake up when I should (shh, don't tell my boss :p ). And Ralphie can sleep all day like a champ. But when I let him know that it is time to wake up...the kisses are on! Actually, a few hours before it is time to wake up he snuggles me to death but still lets us finish sleeping. He presses his little body as close to me under the covers as he can possibly get...so precious it just melts my heart.

Now Agnes, my new puppy, sleeps by the bed in a playpen. She sleeps through the night without so much as a peep, but as soon as it is around 9am (We don't go to bed until about 3 am...we are night owls) she becomes very bossy and barky. So I put her harness on her and hook her up to the leash we have on our headboard. This way she can't fall off the bed and we can all go back to sleep in peace. She goes right back to sleep like a little angel, she just doesn't want to be left out.

And this story was wayyyy to long ha ha...but morning time is very special to me and Ralphie ;);) and I wanted to do our "lovins" justice.

Bentley sleeps in the bed with me and my boyfriend and in the morning he just starts licking my arm and scratching at me. I love waking up to his beautiful little face. its the perfect way to start the day. I always wake up smiling :)

I have to wake up really early (6 AM) for work so the dogs just look at me like "What the heck mom?" Chip will move a little bit and curl up with daddy and Smokey is such momma's boy that he'll follow behind me really slowly with his head down to the bathroom. He'll usually stop by the door of the bathroom and look at me like "I am way too tired to move" and I have to say "Cmon Smokey, come here baby" and he'll get up and move in the bathroom with me. He sniff his food to make sure it's still there, sniff his water, then he'll stretch out on the floor and go back to sleep and makes it impossible for me to get ready for work. As I leave, Smokey will go back on the bed and curl up with daddy and sleep til noon or so. I have lazy dogs. lol

Lexi whines until I get up to let her pee. If she doesn't need to go she'll sleep as long as I do.

Candy doesn't like to sleep in my bed, but when I wake up she comes out of her little hiding spot and prances in to the livingroom, Chuckie on the other hand is a little snugglebug and if he wakes up he just sits on my pillow quietly 'till I wake up. Sweet guy!

Cammy thinks it's playtime when she hears my alarm clock go off- she goes crazy jumping on me and licking. Thank God she does too because i'd hit the snooze button a million times if she didn't....she's my back up:D

Winston is for the most part a sleepy head in the mornings...we generally get up before him. But if by chance he awakens before us, he will first stand up, shake, and then jumps off the bed and comes over to my side of the bed and very quietly grrrrrrrrrrrrr's hmmmmmmpf at me until I get up. If I attempt to ignore him he will then paw at the bed to get my full attention!!! Sometimes I will just pick him up and put him back on the bed and he will snuggle in for a few more minutes...kinda like the snooze button!!!

I wish my two were like a second alarm clock... usually they are the reason I stay in bed until the last minute!

Headstand
 

During the week, I get up at 5am so the alarm wakes us. On the weekends, Paco likes to stand on my head. How he balances, I'm not sure but he does it.

Odie wakes very quietly. When I go to him, whether he is on our bed from the night or in his day bed after nap ... he loves to do a little stretch, he yawns then immediately turns on his back and expects a tummy rub! Which of course we do because how can you resist a 10 month old Yorkie wanting some scratchin'. He sometimes gives little gentle bites to our hands and then gets up, shakes and gets his hair back to normal and then I immediately take him out for a pee. That's his routine ...
Oh ... and in the morning after a night's sleep he just lays there until we get up unless he has to go to the bathroom right away. He will usually lick my toe (I always have a foot outside of the blanket) or he stands at the end of the bed and somehow I just wake up knowing he is there. He won't make a peep. He is very patient.

well Gracie will very lovingly chew on my nose ,sadie will walk up and down on you until she knows your up and then want under the covers

Coral and Brooklyn will sleep forever. Britney will too, expect if you talk, she is up. Then she barks until you get up.

Awe before Rocky passed my fave part of the morning was waking him, he would open his eyes then imediately roll on his back to have his belly scratched. Then he would inch his way a little closer to me and need another belly rub he would inch closer and closer a little at a time 'till he was in my lap laying on his back like a baby it was really sweet I would rub his belly and then cary him down the stairs and outside. :) Copper on the other hand, is kisses kisses and then straight outside.

Lil' Miss Izzie waits till I wake up first then gives me morning kisses. During the week when I get up at 5:30 she will rise and stretch on the bed then as soon as I head to the bathroom she is on my pillow getting her last few minutes of beauty sleep/rest till we head downstairs. :animal36:animal36:animal36

We don't need an alarm clock, almost every morning at 7 Tricksie jumps in between me and my husband, gives us both a kiss and the flops up for a tummy rub.
