Do you clean up "accidents" at Petco/Petsmart? I was in Petco the other day, which would only be the 2nd time I had ever taken Ben and a lady came up the register and was really snotty and said "My dog just had an accident in aisle 4 and someone needs to go clean it up" And it just made me wonder, how many people just leave "it" there or actually try to clean it up themselves. |
How rude!! I have always cleaned up after my dog if s/he had an accident! |
I always clean up after my dogs no matter where we are! I wish everyone would!!:) |
People are sooo tacky I rarely go in to petco if I can help it, since I order treats and food by mail...but when i did, they had little stations every few aisles with paper towels, pick up bags, and nature's miracle spray cleaner. I once stepped in a stinky mess in there...and I had sandals on. Talk about being furious! I have also watched people who stood by and WATCHED their dogs hike up and pee on the door into the grooming shop, and they did nothing. |

Oh no!!! I would have been ticked!! |
I'm going to say I would def clean up after my dogs I have yet to take them to those stores as they closest one is 30min away. I wouldn't expect for someone to do it for me. I tried at the last vet visit to clean up after Abby was told no and vet tec took care of it |
Being a responsible owner means that you clean up after your pets. It is people like the one you are talking about, that have made other stores ban pets. This type of irresponsibility hurts all of us. So far, knock on wood, my babies have never peed or pooped in any store. But if they did, I would definately clean it up. |
My husband says just walking in to Hobby Lobby makes his stomach gurgle and he has to go...(this is his excuse for not taking me when we are out and about) I think Petco has the same effect on Baxter :p |

I clean up after my babies in my own home, I sure as heck don't expect someone else to clean up after them out in public! That was very rude of er. |
If she's talking about her own dog then she must have a ton of staff at her mansion!!! I keep the girls in the cart, but if any potty breaks happen anywhere, then I'd make sure it was cleaned up. |
they always have cleanup stations at these stores so it's so easy to grab the bags, wipes, and disinfectant and just clean it up. |
.............we clean up our own business. :) As my Alfie belongs to me.... so does his "happenings".. :(;) ... So it's my job to clean up after him... I would never expect anyone else to do it for me. And really, we haven't had any accidents (yet) but it will be my job... (or my hubby's..hehehe ;):D ) What a woman, can you imagine if she had a child that needed to be changed... she may have plopped her kid on the counter and said, "She needs a new nappy"... hehehe LOL  |

Before I got Suri I was a frequent flyer at Petsmart, as I was always looking for sales and sometimes just to look because i was so excited to get Suri. One day I went with my BF, and I turned around the corner and almost busted my head because a lady left a big pile of poo on the floor! I was very upset and luckily I didn't fall. I told the lady she forgot to clean up after her dog and she said it wasn't her dog. I said well than your dog must have sat in it, because she has some hanging out of her rear end. (white dogs don't hide things very well...haha...) She got embarrassed and left, and the manager made sure to clean it up. The nerve of people sometimes, if you are the only dog in the store than it might be hard to hide the fact it was you. Anywho, I always make sure to clean up. At the halloween party they had, Suri had to potty and I made sure to clean it up before the helpers had a chance. Its called responsibility. :) |
