This is a popular thread!! My husband is a cosmetic dentist and his business has taken off lately with the makeover shows because teeth really can "age" you so when people get their teeth done they look years younger. it is so rewarding to change people's images like that! It gives them such confidence! |

No--actually it is called the 35 plus diet for women ( good for men too)-by Jean Spodnik and Barbara Gibbons. Break through metabolism diet developed at Kaiser Permanente for Women over 35. The only diet that has ever worked for me, and was easy to do. Now its just the way I eat, and I do not feel deprived. Like everyone else, I had tried everything to get off those last lbs! Anyone who is interested, I could fax copies to you..or may be mail- the whole diet and food list is just 11 pages. The rest is the stories behind the diet. I have bet several people $100 if they followed the diet and didn't lose what they wanted. It got their attention!Let me know who might be interested.. and I can figure out how to get this to you. This has been a fun thread so far! |

I've had plastic surgery twice now. My best advise as mentioned in an earlier post on this thread and doesn't hurt to repeat is "RESEARCH AND RESEARCH AND RESEARCH!!" |
I'm lucky, I'm 34 but look about 27. I'm half Asian and all of the women in my family have aged very well. That being said, in the next 2 years I am going to get a few things done: The laser light surgery that tightens up the chin and neck area, a little plump in my lips and then teeth whitening. For the first 2 procedures I am going to a great doctor called Dr. Lisa Airan in Manhattan. Her results are incredible. |

Isn't it amazing what a beautiful smile can do for a person!!!!!! I am whitening my teeth again. Its only been a few days and they look so pretty! I think , if you can brighten your smile, start there, then move on to other things! Joy |
I would definitely have plastic surgery. I plan to have a breast lift. I was heavy during my "developmental years." From losing weight and not having a supportive bra when I was younger, things are definitely not where they should be. They're not pancakes, but I couldn't imagine not wearing a bra! I figure they're going to be affected when I have children, so for now I'll rely on Victoria Secret to make up the difference. I would also like Dr. Rey. Maybe if I put my name on his waiting list now, I'll get an appointment by the time I'm done having kids! I figure, if you're not happy with something and you can do something to change that attribute- go for it. Life is too short to be self-conscious when you don't need to be. I never really considered plastic surgery until I got into Dr. 90210. That was the first time I heard women talking openly about their proceedures- before it always seemed so taboo. |
I always say that I want to do it if I had the money. But, even if I did have the money I think I would be so scared to do it. I am so afraid of the unknown and the pain. I am so afraid to be one of these botched surgeries that turns out worse than when you went it. |
