It's not that i don't care i just don't know. I was raised republican, but i like some of the other points of other sides. so i don't know. I vote for someone I thought would do the best for the country and wasn't a huge liar and just saying what i want to hear. |

I live, breathe and work in politics. I work for a particular party that's listed, but I am a "Super Hard D", like falling off the left wing into the stratosphere of red and yellow, if you know what I mean. I didn't vote. |

Wow....the apathy on this poll is kinda scary! I know I am "preachy" but come on people...how can you not care? We are at war and people are dying! ...and most of the people on here are young and should still be idealistic and think they can change the world!! I still think that at my age....I know you may think it is sad....and I know what they do to kids in high school these days, no civil rights....and we all live with such fear which is what this administration thrives on is our fear! BUT...be the change you wish to see in the world as Ghandi said. Get involved in your local political scene and learn about what is going on. It is your future you will be protecting and the future of your children. It's becoming a smaller world everyday and it will be even smaller as technology continues to improve transportation. We really need to do some serious damage control with the way we are viewed by most other nations now. We need to show the rest of the world that we are still a democracy and take back our country!!! :thumbup: |

i know this is kind of random, but i want to be president when i grow up. me and my friend jill both want to really bad. i've wanted to forever. some people think its kind of strange i'm so into politics, i don't really care what they think....... :) |
I'm republican. Breathing, dying republican. I voted for Bush last election and voted for him this election! Republican until I die :D Although I must say, this thread scares me. So far so good, but you know what they say "Don't talk about politics & religion" and I've seen some of the fights around here to do with dogs... I can't even imagine a fight on this site regarding politics :( Everyone keep your cool |
This is interesting... I moved here from the Netherlands, so I am pretty liberal. My husband however grew up in a really conservative family (and is in the military). So, we have pretty interesting discussions (or screaming matches ;)) |

I have never really been involved with politics and for a long time did not care, but over the last year I have really started to formalize my beliefs and I am truly a Republican...I really like Bush and want he has done for us and our country...no one is perfect and he is only human...for those who are against the war, hindsight is 20/20...the only way for this country to grow is for everyone be involved in what is going on!! |
