Well I must say I love my job, but would I have my way and not work at all and retire and stay home with Izzy???? Hahahaha...yes in a heartbeat! I've been working since I've been 16 and never really liked a job as much as this one. It took me over 25 years to find this job I like and at first I wasn't going to stay. I think the main reason I like this job so much is that I love the people I work with (they are all creative) and make me laugh each day. Hey no job is perfect but at least I like to come to work each day.:D Oh and the pay sucks..lol. Thank goodness I am married...if I were single I couldn't work here.:( |

:) I absolutely love my job. I work in a state office as a manager of three offices. Our office defends indigent persons accused of committing crimes. My boss is a wonderful man, creates an easy going environment, and my co-workers are like family. I've been in my position for 25 years, and couldn't imagine doing anything else. In this profession you learn to find the good in people. |
I work for the state. Somedays are better than others. The only thing that keeps me from looking elsewhere is a bookoodle of paid holidays and my coworkers. The actual work is tedious and not exactly challenging enough to keep me interested. My sister-in-law and I have been talking about starting an event planning business. I would do the planning (I have an eye for design) and she would handle the business (degree in business management). My mom and grandmother are incredible cooks and would be great at doing catering. We would use the men (lots of boy cousins) in my family for manual labor. In my mind its a great plan... its the execution we're having trouble with. |
I do love my job....I get to sale beautiful houses!!!:) Even the ones that aren't so beautiful when I sell them are fun to see once my clients get ahold of them and turn them into their lovely home. I love seeing the transformation, it really is wonderful. To be able to guide and assist someone, a couple, a family into finding their next home is really a privilege that I enjoy. This job is whatever I put into it I get out of it....if I am not banging the bushes and stirring up business then I am drowning right now in this market....I have to be a go getter which allows the best to rise to the top. I love a challenge! I don't do much else than work & work out because I am so driven to keep up on everything and do the absolute best that I can for my clients that I often feel as if I live, sleep and breath at the office and so does my little Derbs....he can sell Real Estate with the best of em.:):aimeeyork Now, don't get me wrong....if I had an amazing person in my life to share my days, thoughts, frustrations and so forth with then most likely work would take a backseat. So if anyone knows an amazing guy that is looking for a 30-something over in California that is a hard worker, very moral, loves her family and her puppy & kitty....let me know, I'd love to meet him because I haven't been able to find him yet. Good looking, successful, loves his family, loves kitties and puppies, strong moral compass......is that too much for a girl to ask? Ha! I got off on a tangent on Mike's thread, sorry Mike, I have a feeling I will be "banned" on the banning thread for this later. Ha! At any rate, I do love my job!!!:thumbup::thumbup: |
I love my job, Never the same thing EVER! I am an EMS Chief of a rural area. I have done this for 28 years and I would not change one thing about my job. (Now some of the runs I would) I have the best team of EMS providers in the state!!!:D |
Love my job. I have my own audiology practice and helping patients hear again is quite a benefit. My patients are great and I love helping them have a better quality of life. Nothing like being your own boss, but my husband is the office manager and sometime he thinks he is the boss of me. Ha...ha...I let him think that but we have a great relationship and we are able to spend more time together this way. He is great with advertising, marketing, and the day to day finances that lets me be free to be concerned with patient care. I don't know what I would do with out him! |
I work at Wendy's. :p I said that I like my job but I'd like to do something else. Most definitely. :) I'm aiming towards theatre. |
I enjoy my job and have a great boss. I am just a bit frustrated with our firm post merger. But with the economy the way it is if I can't hit the mega I will be here...lol. |
While the work itself is okay, my boss is a self absorbed 'yes-man' workaholic and my co-workers are the strangest bag of mixed nuts you'll meet anywhere, who collectively, make the job much more difficult and complicated then it should be. I need a psychic who can give me just 6 numbers on the next lottery. Just 6 numbers is all I need!!!!! Six lousy stickin' numbers!!!!! How hard can it be for cryin' out loud!!!!!! (Big sigh and a pause)Sorry 'bout that. Lost my head for a moment. |
retirement is my ultimate goal.. staying home is my favorite the lottery win will make it so much more fun... i gotta play to win:) i say test me with a million.. i can handle it:) |
I've been working for a non-profit child care agency for 25 yrs. I have been an account's payable supervisor for that time and had mostly good years. Some were rough because of the administration at the time but it has reversed it's self once again and good times are back. Yes, I like my job. |
I SOOOOOOOOOOO love my job! I retired 2 years ago!~ lol |

I've been a flight attendant for over 18 years, which I love! But I don't love the pay cuts and the longer work hours with less staff. I long for the olden days!! |
