I don't mind at all. I am not a member there but I went and checked it out and there is another piece in the post after that one in that thread that is good too. Since I cannot post there, I would welcome it if you would.

I havent done a whole lot.Just inform people about them,i emailed all of my flist to sign the petition(both of them) and i am planing on emailing the local radio stations and news channels.

I reported 2 puppymills to the Animal Protection of my city . They sent agents and they took the dogs for adoption at the shelter . There were a few that have been euthanazied because they were in too bad shape . I will always fight to have these places closed forever .

That is AWESOME! I am so happy that so many people have already and are going to help fight puppy mills!

I wonder who put that they didn't want to help! That makes me ANGRY!! :mad:

On top of telling evryone I know and making the shirts, millbusters.com and the new forum, i've also contacted hundreds of websites asking them to link to millbusters.com. I've also emailed goverment officials in lancaster county as well as president bush and cheney and a few new stations.

Even if you think you dont have time to help, you do. take a moment to sign the petitions. At the very least, tell EVERYONE you know abotu puppy mills and how they should NOT buy ANYTHING from pet stores that sell animals!

I agree! Everyone can do a little something to help! At the moment, my main concern is increasing public awareness. There aren't many people out there that know what a puppy mill is and what goes on there. By just wearing a millbusters chirt or hat or SOMETHING, you are making a difference!!

I just bought Shelby the dog shirt from millbusters and believe me I will parade her around it. So, hopefully the shirt will catch people's eye or Shelby will lol and I can start a convo and spread the word about puppy mills.

I've been trying to do small things for almost 2 years now - and I want to say that I'm LOVING all these people speaking out against PET STORES and Puppy Mills - I'm REALLY proud of all of us - every small thing can be BIG things when there's enough people....and this site is doing a GREAT job helping this fight to Stop those Evil Humans from abusing innocent animals.

I have master letters I email out - TV...radio...other sites...government officials and legislators ....and now have access to new better letters on the Millbuster site....

I'm linking Millbusters to other sites I'm a member of....got a few people to join..... - I sign petitions and I email sites that need voices added to the fight - I've educated EVERY single person I have a relationship with - family - friends and have stuff in my car to hand out now. I printed up the business cards - and will add Millbusters to my website - I'm in the process of a few changes but it WILL be on there.

You're doing alot - this is a start - You tell one friend who tells a friend who tells....you know what I'm getting at - Don't think it's small what your doing - the right person may hear you one day....the right people will hear ALL of us one day.

Santa Rosa, CA store sells puppy mill dogs
 
I created http://www.superpets.org to inform the public about puppy mills and in particular the store in my city that sells sick, puppy mill dogs. Super Pets in Santa Rosa, CA and Windsor, CA sells puppy mill dogs from Oklahoma and Missouri. Some of which come from the Hunte Corp.

Stay away from Super Pets. :mad:

I have written to local papers and radio stations. I try to educate friends or acquitances who are looking to purchase a dog about not buying from pet shops and either go to a reputable breeder or an animal rescue group. I have make some rather loud comments while walking by a pet store in our area mall. Recon's Mom I am not as brave as you yet. But you are an inspiration. Next time I may just do "A RECON"S MOM".

mail sent to you) It can be a letter or just a note to tell them how outraged you are. YOUR
COUPLE MINUTES OF TIME CAN CLOSE THESE PEOPLE DOWN

I posted somewhere that I wanted to start a protest group in my area, Fort Worth, but havent heard anything from anyone yet. I think it would be great to start one here if there isnt already one! Go to all pet stores in DFW area and have posters and flyers and all till we get kicked out by police lol. MuffinsMom

i dont know what i plan to do. dont know where to start. i do know i have been telling people about the websites that were here so maybe by passing the word around im doing something locally cause we live in a small but growing area and im sure its around here just havent stumbled apon one yet vilette cleared up my questions on puppy mills and i told other people now that we know what they really are and look like we can better judge and pass the word on.
