I keep in touch with Jillys breeder by sending an occassional picture. They love receiving them. I've gotten updates on her litter mate as well as a picture. She has bought the the last two YT calendars also because Jilly was in it. Breeder was very proud of that. I haven't sent a pic in awhile so thanks for posting this and reminding me its time to send another one. |
When we first got Keely I would send her breeder tons of pictures updates all the time and I never heard back from her. Makes me sad, but what else could I do. I've stopped sending her stuff because I never get a reply back. Now Maverick on the other hand. I talked to YTer Breny all the time. Its not everyday but I send her pictures let her know how he's doing. We talk on the phone sometimes but not all the time. She is awesome! I love her!:D |
Talk to Your Breeder I purchased my pup from Wendy Garcia, Yorktown Heights, NY. Shortly after I brought my pup home and starting calling Wendy for advice and questions, she never responded by voice or email. Needless to say, I am still upset at her behavior to this day! I wondered how she could not want to have contact with us???? |
That is sad when you don't hear back from the breeders. JMHO, but that is part of what you're buying--the support, reassurance, and information. |

I used to send Conner's breeder emails and pictures updating her on Conner, but I never received replies. She said she would always be available to answer any questions I had, but she never was. I sent her an email thanking her for Conner because we cannot imagine our lives without him, and I never heard from her. |
I talk to my breeder often. She is a sweet lady, she is always available if I have a question and I took my Miko to visit her and his mom. It was so cute, he didnt even remember her (his mom). I would recommend her to anyone. |
Very Nice Breeder... I just bought my Little Thumbelina from a breeder on Valentine's Day. She calls and emails me quite often and I really enjoy hearing from her. Both her and her husband are very nice people and very particuliar to who they sell their babies to. I think that is a wonderful way to be and they love the babies as much as the new owner does. |
This is such a timely thread. I was just thinking yesterday how different my relationship is with Dabee's breeder than with Tia and Baileys. I got Bailey and Tia 6 months apart and sent emails, picture updates but they were not responded to. Although its only been a couple of weeks, I have full confidence that I will be in close contact with Darbee's breeder for a very long time. I guess its what you are prepared to put into the relationship from both ends. |
We rescued Crosley from a family who weren't treating her right and didn't want her and we found her breeder is no longer breeding. I go onto the website of Wrigley's breeder to see new litters and so forth, but she hasn't updated it forever! Now that I have a new Macbook and will learn how to do photos, I plan on sending her some and hopefully we will keep in touch! We are seriously considering adding a new baby to the family sometime this year and I will definitely pick a YT breeder from OH,KY,IN or MI and I want to keep a relationship going! |
I sure do! We talk ALL the time :) |
i lost her number and shes a 12 hour drive away |
Yes I keep in touch with Rosie's, Romeo's, and Raindrop's breeder. We have become friends, and if I have any questions, I can ask her. Also, she is not too far from me, so I can go and visit her, and play with her new babies. I keep her posted on how my babies are doing, and even bring them to her so she can love on them. I think she likes the fact that she can watch them grow up too. :) Darlene :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa |
