How Often Do You Brush Your Babies?
 
My boys seem to always have the "unkempt" look, even 5 minutes after I brush them. So, I'm wondering how often most people brush their fur babies.

He's 31/2 months old. He's as messy as when we start cause he is such a wiggler.

Both of my boyz have a silk coat so they don't tangle or mat but they do look stringy even right after brushing. I haven't found anything that helps that but I'm considering puppy cuts!

Usually about 3 times a day lol.

Same here!!!!!!! The "fluff" stage after brushing last about 5 mins in my house....argh...

Btw, I don't why this poll has this "public" notation above, I don't know what I did wrong there...

i brush my monkey girls everyday but they get messy right after i brush them..oh well they are monkeys what can i say..:)

Me too. Well, Sophie at least. She gets so matted! The others see me brushing her and want to join in...lol

So I end up brushing them all day...:rolleyes:

Same here - Izzy only looks good for a few days right after a bath and then after that I can comb/brush her and 5 minutes later you would never know it....she gets that stringy look going, too! I keep Izzy in a long coat and no problems since she is so tiny not much to brush..lol.:D

I voted every other day but that's the longest I go without brushing...I try to do it every day if possible...makes it easier.

My Girls get that stringy look just a few minutes after brushing but I think even the top show dogs do too... I always see the handlers brushing the coat while waiting to be judged, on the judging table, on the floor before the movement judgeing, while they wait for other dogs to be judged.... Basically all the time.

I voted for everyother day but that's for a through brushing, they get their heads and a light brushing daily.

Chloe actually love brushing her teeth...when she see me or my bf with her toothbrush..she gets all excited!! I might increase to brush her teeth twice now after being on NV RAW....

LOL, I have to brush them that often, Benji has a super thick mammoth like coat that matts so easily, Malachi's puppy coat is coming through and matting with the adult coat so thats a nightmare and Indy well she just has a lovely silky coat that I want to keep lovely :D

If she was on prey model raw you woulden't have to brush them at all, mine adore their natural rmb tooth brushes ;p
