At least once a Day! All 3 of mine Love to get their Hair brushed........Artie has a wavy, silky long full coat, I usually braid his tail and put a topnot with a non-slip rubberband (no bows unless he's going some where special). Abigail has a straight, silky long full coat with her bangs trimmed and Tiffany Aloha, with the nickname of Pom-Pom has a straight, silky puppy cut since she is only 16 months old. I try to brush them at least once a day but my goal is to do it twice a day, they always look so messy unless they have just been bathed and blow-dried? I try to do it when they are sleeping so they associate the action with relaxation, or before we "Go Bye" in both cases it means something positive so I never have any problems doing it. |
I never need to brush Bella's hair, only will if she see's me brushing Rocky's..I think she likes the feel of the comb:p And Rocky's hair is still pretty short from his summer cut, so I don't need to brush it as often. |
The beauty last only as long as it takes them to hit the floor, give a big shake, and go back to playing! But my main goal is to keep mats away. It help a lot to use a finishing spray and a straightening iron on low. That helps the hair be less fly away and stay better longer. |
Sissy could probably be brushed less as her coat rarely mats (it really doesn't grow either), but Angel is at least once a day. I try to comb her again before bed as she just mats terribly (and she has a silky coat)!!!! I wish she liked to be combed, but alas like all her grooming - she HATES it!!!! |

For the most part I brush Sam everyday because he gets a new top knot every day BUT a good brushing.... every other day |
i brush sammy a few times a week, he has a thick cotton coat that gets mats very easy. as for his teeth, he gets them brushed every night , 7 days a week. |
When I was trying to keep Ginger's hair long, I combed it every day. LOL, who am I kidding. I was obsessed and combed it several times everyday.:) Now that her hair is short, every other seems to be plenty. Her hair never mats (even when long), but it is so fine it just looks messy alot.:p Bernie, on the other hand, came to me with short hair and his is growing. I gave him a schnauzer/westie/schnorkie cut and left the "fringe" long. His hair mats easily, so I comb that out daily. |

Cozmo that is differant, he looks the same no matter what. He has that cotton coat, and just down right ugly. sorry I still love him I just don't like the coat. |
i brush my babies every day! |
3 of the Biewers are in full coat--they get brushed every day and hair tied up out of their eyes. |
I brush Ellie's about once a year.:) |
I comb Lulu every other day I comb her every other day to give my fingers a break. She hates getting combed and she chews the crap out of my fingers. She growls and whines at the comb to say "just wait until I get a hold of you, I'm gonna tear you up!". She only 6 months old so I'm hoping that she will grow out of it. I've tried many different brushes and combs with her in the hopes that she wouldn't be so mad at them but it's all the same to her...she doesn't like it at all. |
I brush Suzy every day. Sometimes it's twice a day if she's been out rolling around in things. But we have a nightly routine. She gets her fur brushed, her hair put up in a new band and her eyes wiped with a damn cotton pad. I do it when she's been all snuggled up and is placid, then she goes to my boyfriend for a snuggle afterwards and gives me foul looks. :p |
Every day!!! If not, they will get yucky tangles!!! |
