I really like this shot. Something about putting a perfectly groomed Yorkie in a tree adds a whole new element to the portrait. And it helps that G-Man has a funny little smirk on his face. Thanks for sharing.

It shows! I keep going back to that shot. Even the Christmas lights crack me up. Reminds me of the prom king waking up from a hangover on the morning after the prom wondering how the heck he got in this tree with a bow in his hair. LOL, but I have a twisted sense of humor.

I'm all for trying spring shots. It was 0 degrees last night, but our days are warming and it looks and feels like spring is thinking about it.

Spring shots?? Mother nature decided to be contrary today and although it was 56 Sat, it is now 36 and has been raining, sleeting and snowing today. LOL
Not that any is sticking but still............
Like they always say, if you don't like the weather in Missouri, give it a few, it will change.

About time the OP got around to turning in her ASSIGNMENT! Love those shots, but it's a full-grade deduction for being late!

I think that counts as an environmental shot. There's a whole lot of fun information in there, from Finni's miserable act to Gwenni's pouting. I think it would be an award winner if we could see your face and the portrait was of you. As it is, it's a portrait of Finni and he's pretty tiny.

But what do I know?

wow...i see i have missed some awesome shots here! You are ALL great behind the camera!! I need to stay in the loop here! lol...i want to show you all my little new grand-baby..Her name is Molly and I recently went to California to see her again. She is 6 mos. now and we had a little nudie photo shoot!!

I don't even know where I heard that term "juxtapose" because I have never taken a photography class but I think it is a photography term, LOL. My interpretation of juxtapose is basically two or more subjects, side by side, to show comparison or contrast.

It can be large vs. small, same thing different colors, it is also used to show scale, like when you see a penny or quarter next to something to show size.
