I finally ordered my new camera!
 
:bananna::bananna::bananna: After all these months of waiting, I just placed my order for my new Nikon D90!! :bananna::bananna::bananna:

I cannot tell you how excited I am - hopefully it will get here before my first photography class starts later this month. Amazon said the camera was coming from the east coast and due to severe weather shipping may be delayed.

Thanks Darlene! Your new camera has been taking awesome pics (well, you do have the perfect little model, too ;)), I just hope my pics will be half as good as yours!

Yipee Dipee - you will love it until you realize you have to have a very super clean house before you post any of your pictures...:p The little dustbunny will show up in every picture..

Bonny, did your camera come? I got my D90 off of Amazon and it came the next day! I am in Texas and I just paid for standard shipping...so I hope yours gets here quickly too. I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine and Amazon had the best deal going! :)

Nope, it doesn't show it's even been shipped yet. There was a notice that delivery times may be delayed due to the weather in the NE, but I just sent them an email asking about it anyway. I can't wait!!

It will TOTALLY be here tomorrow! YEAH! Just make sure you are home waiting by the door because you have to sign for it. LOL Mine didn't come till 5:30 and I knew it would be here that day and I kept getting up and going to peek out the door. haha!

UPS shows that my camera has arrived in Tulsa and is on the truck out for delivery. It's going to be a looooong day. :p I know from experience that the UPS guy doesn't make it to my neighborhood until at least 6pm, so I will be standing on the front porch, tapping my foot, waiting for him tonight. :D

Yep, I remembered to get a memory card. I had months to think about my order - I sure hope I didn't forget anything.

It's here! It's finally here!! All I have done - literally - is get the charger and a battery out of the box and start the battery charging. Now, I'm gonna go see my new camera!! :bananna::bananna::bananna::bananna::bananna:

And it stares back and then you go "What? WHAT? Quit lookin' at me with all your technology and crap - I'm not ready yet and I will tell you when I am, OKAY??"
