Which camera & lens did you use? |
Thanks. I just started really using my camera and the different settings this last summer. I have had it for years, and I got determined to get some better shots. It is a Canon Digital Rebel Xt (yeah, one of the first models) and I have been using a cheap zoom 75-300 lens. It is a terrible lens, really, but I told myself I was not going to purchase a better lens until I mastered the crappy one. LOL. And, I think most of these pictures were taken on the macro setting. |
3 Attachment(s) The first one of my Bella is not a macro...it is a close up of my cutie:) I used my 50 1.4 canon lens. all natural light at ISO 100 f1.6 SS 1/100 The second one is a Macro of a very small spider and third is a Macro of an exoskeleton of some kind they were both taken with my Canon 100mm lens using all natural light. Not sure of my settings but I can get them if you want them. |
3 Attachment(s) Trying my hand at close ups. 1. I deliberately underexposed this one so his eyes would show up better. 2. Not as sharp as I'd like. Not sure if it's camera shake or just not focused well. 3. Same guy as 1 with the flash in close up mode. Kinda flat. New camera, so I just sit on the sofa and snap pix! |
1 Attachment(s) Here is a new one i took Yesterday. More on my website. |
Beautiful shots! Ok, so can you take action shots with the Nikon D90? And, what is Macro setting. Sorry, I want to purchase a new camera for action and closeups. Novice at this, so I don't have a hoot on what I'm doing, LOL. |
