Roast beef was dry, ham was not even noticeable. Also got a seafood gumbo. $8.25 for a small cup and there was just shrimp, no other seafood, and it was bland!
Parkway Tavern was nothing impressive either. First time we ate there were we drunk and hungry so we thought it was good. Came back a few days later sober and it was not as great as we thought. Seems like alcohol is a great seasoning. And why are all the "poor" boys in NOLA all like $12+? I thought they were were the "poor boys"? But now they are going to make me poor. So glad I'm back in Cali. |
