Lol, I'm torn between scurrying or sitting back and watching the game! I think I'm going to make wings... again... I haven't bought any I like better so I hate ordering them bc I'm always disappointed. Usually the chicken is not fresh, even from the best places. That dip recipe sounds like our hot Crab dip... just omit the pepper sauce, Ranch dressing, the Bleu cheese, and the chicken, and add lump crab meat (big lumps)... Instead of hot wings we make Chesapeake wings, deep fried and seasoned with Old Bay Crab seasoning (crab addicts eat Old Bay on everything, even make deviled eggs with it, lol) Good on fresh tomatoes too. UTZ Potatoe Chip Company even makes Old Bay Potatoe Chips.. Lol! |

Here's something to try if you feel like grillin... Put a slit (long ways) in a jalapeno pepper & scoop out insides of it. Stuff pepper with a smoky AND cream cheese. Wrap smoky in a piece of bacon. Grill!!! It has a not so nice name..... but I prefer to call it "buffalo droppings". |

Ranch crackers 1 box crackers (I use a box of small crackers made by Premium or a package of oyster crackers) 1/2 cup olive oil 1 package ranch dressing mix 1 tsp garlic 1 tsp Parmesan cheese (the kind in the jar) In a large ziplock bag, pour the entire box of crackers, the oil, the garlic, the cheese and the ranch package. Seal the bag and shake it all around to coat the crackers. Leave it sitting for several hours, turning and shaking every once in a while to coat the crackers. Pour into a owl and enjoy! If you use large crackers, you have to do 2 sleeves at a time and increase the oil by 1/4 cup. You can also experiment with other dressing mixes (they make an Italian mix that I want to try) or try flavored oils. You can also add more ranch or not use as much depending on your tastes. We like a lot of ranch on ours. |
