I also love tripe - when I was growing up (although I haven't grown up yet <g>) mum always bought some at the open air market on a weekend. It was ready to eat. We just put vinegar (malt vinegar) in it. I have bought it over here at Publix, cooked it and let it go cold then put malt vinegar on it - but it is never quite the same as what I had growing up. |
