Method

1. Soak the gammon overnight in cold water.

2. Place the gammon in a large saucepan and cover with fresh cold water. Add in the onion, carrot, bay leaves and peppercorns.

8. Serve hot or cold and with as much mustard as you can eat.

Google common recipes and it shows up. I think they use something similar in the bahn mi's, some strange cold cut that tastes wonderful.

Frikadellen - they're like a spicy cross between meatballs and burgers = very yummy! :D

Gammon - it's like a juicier, more thickly sliced joint of ham x bacon = very yummy too! Usually served with fries, fried eggs and/or pineapple! :D x

I like ham and I like bacon. This might be something I would actually try! :D

not to be late... but I LOVE mustard!!

One of my favorite recipes is a Honey Mustard Turkey.. people beg me for this when I make it.

Also, one time while traveling in North Carolina we found a place that had a mustard based bbq sauce... OMG it was so yummy!! I bought a few bottles to bring home, but sad to say they are all used up:(

Another favorite recipe is flank steak coated with Dijon mustard and rosemary, grilled .. again it is so good

did I tell you I love mustard???????
