Blah!!!!!!!!!! j/k I'm allergic to shellfish and octopus/squid. Although I have a big love for fish! :D |
Sorry Roni. Post your favorite fish recipes then! :) |
I love seafood but never cook it we go out for it, I like that shrimp stuffed avocado recipe. Might have to try that for me and My Daughter. I would never get my Husband to eat anything avocado |
Honestly one of my favorite fish dish is just grilled Mahi Mahi lightly salted (salt that I get from Europe) and tons of fresh lemon squeezed on it right before consumption. :D I have lots of recipes for fish...I am after all a fishmongers wife ;) Hence the name our baby girl has..."Ahi" :D I'll think of my favorites to post.... |

I heard that if you stick an over ripened banana in the bag with them it will speed up the process. However last time I tried it, everytime I would check the bag someone had taken the banana out. After doing this for three times I just gave up. Someone really didn't want their gross banana in there. |
1 Attachment(s) Toro and Hamachi is my hubby's favorites. He just likes it sahimi style with ponzu sauce. I love the california rolls sliced with spicy ahi sitting on it and with the panko sprinkled on top. I do love my wasabi too. There is a baked(we put it on a pan on throw it on the grill) fish recipe that we make with Uhu aka Parrot fish. This is sooo good and we usually only make it during new years eve or when my husband goes diving and catches it. Very expensive in the stores. Clean, scale, and gut. Put ti leaves or banana leaves on bottom of pan so fish doesn't stick and burn. Stuff fish with onions, fresh ginger, potatoes, and portuguese sausage(lup cheong if you like it..yuck to me) . Layer inside and out with mayo. Season with salt, sugar, pepper, soy sauce...yeah I think thats all lol cover with foil and bake. The fish taste is mild, it's meaty but soft and oh so good. The fish is a very pretty fish too and they only eat coral. I think you could use this recipe for other hearty white meat fish. The extra kind of make it not healthy anymore...but who cares. LOL :D |

Has anyone tried Red Lobster's All You Can Eat Shrimp this year? They change the shrimp dishes every year, so we weren't sure if it was a good selection this year. |

Orange roughy or halibut? My mom lives in Texas and she uses these. Haddock or Alaskan Cod is good too. |

Mayo on the fish, that sounds interesting. I'd try it. :D |

We have gone to Red Lobster shrimp fest this year. In fact we eat at Red Lobster real often. Love shrimp and crab. Even though I am a sweetaholic the only shrimp that I can't eat is the coconut. It tastes sooooo sweet it almost makes me sick. Most people love it. Love the crab cakes they have too. |
