I had a ceviche tostada for lunch. While that may look really healthy, I washed it down with two cabeza tacos. :D

Now I'm hungry again after seeing Priscilla's post. My day has gone like this:

cottage cheese
little debbie
fresh bakery french bread
cottage cheese
little debbie
more bread

I think I'm missing a food group or two. :p

Just slowly and deliberately and with great enjoyment had serving of piping hot Mac and Cheese and such comfort food there never was!!! Ahhhh. All is right with the world!

I had an ice cream cone for supper...and a hand full of grapes for a snack. It's just been too hot, and I didn't feel like making anything to eat.

I LOVE home made mac and cheese! Has anyone tried Alton Brown's mac and cheese recipe? OMG :thumbup: Topped with buttered panko bread crumbs. Panko-licious :D

Oh, my goodness, his recipe has me drooling and I just had some tonight. I could eat Mac and Cheese once a day, I think, and never grow tired of it. It is just one of the easiest and cheesiest and coziest things to eat. I've got to try that recipe when next I fix it! Thanks!!!!!!!!

LOL, a co-worker whose gourmet chef sister is visiting her, brought me the best grilled salmon I've ever tasted, complete with homemade cocktail sauce, homemade bread and a salad whose multiple ingredients came out of her own garden.

I always beg for food when her sister visits, and I think I've become her favorite charity case. :p

Oh you gotta try it with the mayo instead of butter. Talk about kickin' it up a notch! :D I mayo the both sides of the bread so's there's mayo on the outside and the inside. omg heaven! :thumbup: Guilty pleasure however, is to use those sh***y Kraft singles, haha.

He has the BEST recipes. He's my pretend DH :cool:. I learned most my kitchen techniques from him and Melinda Lee.:thumbup:

True, but not everybody cooks it as good as this woman!

And, yes, we hit a sweltering mid 60s today. I was roasting.

I like my salmon raw, thank you very much! In fact I have a chirashi bowl calling my name right now. If you guys are lucky you'll get a pic of it in the morning. um I mean a pic of it before I start scarfing it, but I won't upload the pic probably till the morning. Prob late morning, maybe afternoon?
