The thing I LOVE about Sonic's onion rings is the light, light, light batter that has these like bubbles of extra-light places in it and the distinct flavor the batter has. It is just exceptional. Alot of fast food places onion rings have such heavy, solid batter that just overwhelmes the circle of onion. But Sonic - they do onion rings right. Even when they do backfire on me a bit! :)

I am so sold on our Sonic's onion rings, it is the only place where I will order them. I hope your Sonic uses the same recipe and has the same wonderful frier ours must have. They are sooo good, I saved my leftovers from Monday to have later just because I couldn't eat them all and just couldn't throw anything that good away. But after scarfing some more of them today(I couldn't even wait to heat them up!), I did have to toss out the rest - I mean it's been 2 days! But they were still crunchy and good. And I only got a medium order. The large order is positively huge.
