Because it was always last minute. I'd go to school, get bored at the library when Kaji didn't go with me, and then I'd head to my little bros place (in Fullerton) to kill some time. Instead of waiting for traffic to die down by watching TV, we'd hit the pub. I don't know what the place is called though. I'm bad at those things. I LOVE their burgers!

Uh... yeah... before we met. :rolleyes: :D

No bacon, I'm not a huge fan. I'll eat it sometimes when I have a craving for it. My fav right now is anything with mushrooms.

I'm not a huge bacon fan either, but this place I"m thinking about is famous for the 50/50 even though not all their burgers are like that. I haven't been yet, I'm kinda scared. LOL

As for the chain sub shops I prefer Togo's, then Quizno's, then Subway. I just can't get past Subways bread. Too airy and soft.

Just the one out by my sister's house and my ?muffaletto? was pretty bad that day. But at our office one of the drug companies would have them cater lunches for us in the office and the food was to die for! I think we just caught the cook or that particular restaurant on a bad day. I can still remember some of those lunches catered by the Q - enough food to feed an army and goooooood.

No chile and limon. I prefer mine plain. Plus, we don't even have a small bottle of Tapatio. What the hell is up with that????

That's what I'm saying! We should, at the very least have a small bottle of Tapatio in the house. We do have a molcajete (I have no idea if I spelled that right) to make fresh chile, but it's heavy to pull out and use at every meal.

Muffaletto, lol, what's that? Quizno's bread is much better than subways, and their meats taste more like real meat and not processed stuff.

Muffaletta is a sandwich from New Orleans, so yummy. Muffuletta - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Schlotzsky's does those, but not authentic, it's their take on it. Dense round bread with lots of meat and olive relish.

As far as i know black, but I've seen it with green mixed in. All green would just be way too salty with the salami and all.

Just had a ceviche tostada again and one cabeza taco. I cut it back from two, aren't you guys proud of me? LOL so good!!!!!!

LOL one of those tacos is the equivalent of two at a normal taqueria, so really it's like I had two, whereas before it was the equivalent of four. :eek:

You are right! It WAS Schlotzsky's that had the tasteless food now that I am reminded. I just knew it was one of those sub kind of places with a name I could never remember as we didn't have either close to where I live. We only have a Subway close to where I live. That's why the difference from when Quiznos would cater that great food at our office - it was a different place! I remember that bread. And all food so fresh. Oh, they did goood food!

Schlotzsky's is actually a lot better now. they've kind of revamped their menu, at least over hear they did.

That's good to know - might give them another go next time I'm near one as I love big, big sandwich type meals for lunch.
