| Good idea, omichka! Unfortunately, we are nowhere near Seattle but if we were, Toto would certainly love to play with your baby! That's a problem that we have also ... don't know anyone with a little one for her to socialize with! Anyone near Glenwood Springs, CO? That's where we will be soon!!

Here's an idea: Check out www.yorkie.meetup.com I put in my zip code and found 3 meetups here in Maine! If there isn't already a group, start one! It's easy. You pick a place and a date and time, post it on meetup.com, and you're good to go! Lots of them seem to meet at pet stores, so you might want to check with one near you. Or a busy, nice park. For what it's worth, my Higgins sure has enjoyed playing with Chihuahuas! There were 5 camping with the Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue lady in Florida last winter and they took excellent care of Higgins as a baby. They weren't too rough. And of course, he just LOVES Princess, my grandpuppy Chihuahua. So look for those little guys, too.

Medina Park is at (NE 12th St & 82nd Ave NE) in Medina. We've never been there, though. Here's a Mapquest link to it: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...te=wa&zipcode=

I don't go to Medina Park. My Jessica prefers Bellevue Park Plus, this is very friendly SMALL dog park (Medina is better for big dogs) One day 15 yorkies were there. It was not a special meeting, people just come at the same time Anyway, a few yorkies go to that park all the time. One girl has 3 yorkies, and another with 3 yorkies comes from Seattle! I used to go to BPark every day, but now my Jessica doesn't like when too many dogs arounds and prefers my company. Snobby girl a little bit She loves to play with one dog only - she doesn't like "kindergarden".Anyway, I definitely recommend to visit that park. This is not an officially dog park, however we let our dogs run around and have fun. If your dog is intelligent, doesn't bark much and not agressive, you will be always welcome there. The only one time someone complained probably, because we saw a security who asked us to put dogs on the leashes... But it was an exception.... Last edited by omichka; 09-17-2006 at 09:16 PM.

I am talking about Medina beach park. There is a big sign "no dogs allowed" I agree, that Medina Park IS great park, but this is just my dog preference For some reasons, she likes better Bellevue Park, don't know why. When I come to Medina park, she doesn't like to go to "off leash" area... she just stop and don't go.... For me no matter - I live in Clyde Hill, just between these two parks.... However, Bellevue Park is more popular for SMALL dogs....
