Another Dock Diving Day and BBQ Today we go with the BRT club to do dock diving at Bowwow. It looks to be a gorgeous day. Dara has to stay home as she is in heat. But the boys are going. Will try to take pics n vids of our splash time! Have a great Saturday all |
yes, yes, videos please, I love seeing your babies dock dive. Have a GREAT fun day. |
Sounds like so much fun! Looking forward to seeing the videos!! |
Would love to see the video. Hope you had a great day. |
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1492...8770806683340/ This was taken by a member of our club on a cell phone can you believe it? My hubby got none of Magic or Razzle on my vid camera except 5seconds on each dog. Sigggghhhhhhh |
Razzle jumps |
Thank you We did have a great day. Many of our Blackies this day were very scared of the whole process but most did not have good toy drive and many did not have any swimming experience. So very understandable. Razzle was the show off that day - he did a superlative jump and I am not sure if anyone caught it on vid or pic. But it was picture perfect - very good drive no hesitation he literally threw himself after the toy. And with my two boys with health issues - the amount of exercise was just right for them. Although they always want more and more. |

Thankk you I am still trying to get a copy of a great video of him sigh - I have not heard back from the person who took it |
Thank you Lisa |
New vids from today More to come once uploaded https://youtu.be/iX944SCwzz8 Razzle is such a hit when ever he dives I think he might be the only diver in Canada for Yorkies Proudly in the States we have Lola/Donna and Britster/Jackson who have done this sport. I just can't say enough good things about this sport. It is so very much fun, and if your dog likes water - what better thing to do in the hot summer days? There is a spirit of comaderie - we cheer n clap new divers and experienced ones on. You get to be in the great outdoors with your dog. How much better can it get? |
Just awesome. I LOVE to see small breeds competing to show you don't have to be a big dog to do what comes natural. You must be so proud of lil Razzle. Thank you for sharing the video. |
|
lol,I love how Razzle literally "fly's" off the dock, he's amazing. Awesome video, I have to see if they have dock diving here in Pa. I would love to just watch all the dogs, if they had small breeds that would be the icing on the cake lol.Again thank you for sharing. |
HERE Comes Magic |
Your boys are amazing! They are so fearless, toy driven, and beautiful athletes. I love the photo you have of Magic jumping with his little sister and also the video when Magic goes in the water after Razzle. |
Here comes Dara Queen of the Dock lol |

Go for it. It is the best sport around. There are some small breeds that jump like Jack Russels I once saw a bulldog compete - he was ever so cute and that life jacket he wears is a must - cause bulldogs have negative buoyancy and without it he would just sink. Lots of border collies labs and goldens do it as well. Today we had two Cheaspeake Bay Retreivers brother n sister - and they couldn't figure out why everyone wanted them out of the water - they wanted to swim with their toy! Beautifull breed. |
Some pics from yesterday I apologize for the quality but you can see how much sheer fun it is; https://www.facebook.com/gail.mclarn...7385697&type=3 |
Magic is just awesome, you must be very proud of them, beautiful videos, thank you again for sharing. I started looking on the internet today for dock diving, the closest one to me is 2.5 hrs away. I would only be a spectator. |
That's okay. Nothing in Erie? Also you can go to lakes that might have a small dock and in off hours jump your dogs. I've done that. PA has lots of lakes I think |
Yes there are a lot of lakes in Pa. many cannot be gotten to by car, some are used for fishing. Several years ago I had a pack of 3 and was a camper, the campground had a lake and special area were dogs could swim, so my girls swam very week end until one of them got entwined with fishing line and several fish hooks twisted in her fur, that ended their swimming at the dog area, I use to sneak them in the ppl area early in the morning and early evenings. The fish hook episode is reason why I won't go to lakes. Thank God the hooks were in her hair and not her legs or paws. I am still looking tho. First he has to master swimming before I would have him attempt to jump off anything. He has a lot of spirit, just not much swimming opportunities lol. |

Oh dear me. That would really scare me too! While not perfect I usually in strange lakes/streams wade in first and look around,,,, And it is also why you see the life jackets on in some of my vids or pics - those ones are taken early in the season or when we go to a strange lake or river. |
New videos from Today! First one https://youtu.be/iX944SCwzz8 Razzle is always a big hit. I think he might be the only Yorkie in Canada that dock dives. Heather from Ruff Sports has asked me for pics n vids of him. Most other dock divers are amazed at him when he jumps. No fear in this boy! Lola n Donna in the States and Britster/Jackson dock dives. Such a fun fun sport - if your dog likes the water I can not say enough good things about it. |
I loved all of the videos. Dara looked great, too. I saw the photos of Razzle going off the dock at the Rigair Anniversary party. Razzle is completely fearless and looks wonderful. I wish I could have been there personally to see it. |
