Does anyone on here own a Pom and if so, do you know of any sites like this just for Poms? I'm looking for a male Pom puppy. (Don't hate me.

Cant help you sorry anjie,as I live in another country but I was in a pet shop the day before yesterday and was shocked to see 2 poms in there for sale I think they wanted about 12 hundred dollars each.

I found a nice reputable breeder in my state. She's selling males for $500. She doesn't have what I'm looking for right now but I think I'll probably get a puppy from her. Dunno yet though.

I owned a female Pom and I will just say she was not the right dog for us! I had always wanted a pom ever since I can remember. I think they are one of the most beautifulest breeds out there. (becides the Yorkshire Terrier of course) At the time we got Natasha, she was $500 akc reg. but that was five years ago. She was so pretty! Gold, tiny (only 4 lbs) and the most adorable face I have ever seen! I always thought she was just a dog that wasnt for us,,,,, but after attacking my then 4 year old daughter and really hurting her, my husband said that was it with her. I was hoping to find a male but he didn't want anything to do with the breed. (which I though was not fair, but ok,,,,, Then we got Gus and he fit in perfectly! A true member of the family whom we all love, spoil and adore,,,,,, even the mean ol husband loves Gus.

I've been trying to convince my hubby to let me get another dog for a while and he was always insistant on the puppy being as cheap as possible. We agreed on 500 or less. I payed 300 for Rika but that was a special situation.

I have a white pomeranian and my husband named him Monkey. He's the sweetest lil guy. Most people would tell me how well behaved he is(im such a proud momma

). They'd add that other poms (a neighbor's, a relative's or just a friend's pet) are yappy and loud. I think it's how they are introduced in your environment. I was warned before I got him that poms aren't great with small kids. I was scared when kids would come and pet him when he was still a pup ehehehhee But now that he's 2 years old, he can mingle with anyone.

I think Poms are beautiful! I don't know if I could deal with the shedding, but they are truly a beautiful breed!

ACKKKKKKKKKK I just got a female red for a friend of mine. A lady right by my son's school had a litter. This one was REDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, not brown or rust but deep rich red. She was selling them for $200 and they were so sweet and socialized

I had a pomeranian once and his name was Chewbacca and he was very tempermental and snapped at everyone!

It would "claim its territory" at my parents house...it'd go outside of the yard and chase kids on bikes down the road, the mailman, neighbors it was aweful! All he was trying to do was protect our family...but took he to the extreme where it embarassed our family. We wound up giving it to a nice elderly couple who love him to peices. I wouldn't reccommend getting a pomeranian if you have kids...they are adorable and have their cute moments though!
