| Yorkie Yakker | Need Help with Sadie's Brother Sadie just got a brother. We were presented with a situation to adopt this adorable Pomeranian about three weeks ago. He is white with black markings and absolutely full of life. I will be posting pics very soon. The problem is that he goes to the bathroom about six to seven time a day. The first couple of days it was about ten to eleven times a day. I am talking number 2 here, btw. I called my vet and she had me bring in a sample, luckily he had a solid sample that day, and she told me that he is fine from a health stand point. Now it has been just over three weeks since we rescued this little guy and I am starting to get a bit concerned about this. Can anyone offer some insight on why he would be going so much. I bought a bag of the same food that I was told he was eating (science diet)

				 | I have a Pommie who is allergic to wheat, corn, eggs. Been searching for a kibble for over a year that wouldn't give him loose stools and have him going a dozen times per day. He's now on Wellness Simple Food Solutions and I'm having great luck with it. I even put him on no grain kibble and that wasn't any better. This has oats and rice in it. His stools have become solid and small. Also, finally got dh to understand that absolutely no table tastes no matter how small they are. They affect Snowboy immediately. I have to even watch the treats I give him...that they don't have any of the offending ingredients. Good luck.

| Yorkie Yakker | 4doggiemama, Thanks for the advice. I just went out, after doing a little more research, and bought Wellness PuppyMix. All I know so far is that he likes the food. He ate it right away. So hopefully this will help once we get all the other stuff out of his system.

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | When I first got my Pom years ago she had giardia and she went 15 times one day. It took a month to get better. Maybe have another stool sample done if switching the food doesn't help. Hope you can figure it out soon.

| Yorkie Yakker | Thank-you, It has already seemed to help a little. We are mixing it with his S.D just to make sure he does ok with it. Can't wait 'til there's no more S.D in it. Then we will really be able to tell. Thanks so much- Amy
