| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thank you to everyone who's followed my story. For those whom this will confuse, long story short, I took on a rescued Chinese crested whom once I saw I couldn't leave in his situation. He was sunburned, skinny, had fleas and sores from dry skin. I brought him home and took him to the vet and had him vax'd and a slew of tests run and he came back positive for giardia and heartworms. I'm picking up his giardia meds today and heartworm preventative refill for Guinness and cleaning up the backyard, etc. and I've found a wonderful couple who happen to be Guinness' groomers who are going to take Samuel home and treat his heartworms and find him a forever home. They are wonderful people who are also wanting to investigate the situation from where he came from and possibly look into the other dogs left at the home. She spoke to my vet, her breeder and her vet and they decided that they want Samuel and I'm so very happy! She said when I'm ready for a puppy, to let her know and she'll make sure I am given a healthy dog guaranteed. I told her it will be a very long time before I'm ready. This was emotionally trying for me. I don't want to concentrate on the money part of it but we are far from wealthy and this did take a toll but I don't regret it. I would like to maybe instead of doing this again, just donating to rescues. I've learned so much from this experience and just want to go home and love on my Guinness. I wanted to find so many ways to do all of this myself but it was too much and way over my head. Samuel is going to have a great home with several brothers and sisters and get healthy!

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | I just dropped him off with his new family this morning. He fell asleep in the woman's arms while we were chatting. He did that with me, so I think that means he feels relaxed with them too. He will have five other Crested's to hang out with and they've taken in rescues before with much worse conditions. Thanks for reading and I"ll post updates on Sammy as I get them
