That turtle is incredible! is there any way to tell how old he actually is??? (all i can think of is like you can count the rings on a tree... lol.. i know he doens't have rings....)

Actually you can work out their age, each little "block" on their shell has rings, but i find it very difficult to count lol.. too squished. He was a rescue too, has been in the family for about 40 years. His size has never changed, so he must have been fully grown.

I've got one somewhere... will have to look for it. The only one who doesn't have a pal is Nougar, she is a bit of a loner, but spends a lot of her time with me.

My dh travels to neighbouring countries quite often on business and I'm always asking him to bring a baby donkey for me, there are so many, just wandering around He has yet to do it
