Oh, and Gypsy has fleas so I'm a bad Mummy too! :( |
Hang in there, Vicky. The power of positive thought is amazing -- especially in your condition! My friend had triplets in 2000, spent most of the second half of her pregnancy on complete bed rest. Had an older child (not quite 4 then) that she couldn't even care for. She kept saying she was going to make it to 34 weeks and have 5-pound babies. And you know what? She lasted almost EXACTLY 34 weeks and two of three were OVER 5 pounds, with the third one just under.:) So keep picturing yourself with your healthy, happy, baby!:) OHHHH, and you're NOT a bad mummy! If your weather has been anything like ours, it's bound to happen. I'm holding my breath hoping my crew doesn't end up with them!:p |

It is my fault she has fleas... I took her to my friend's house and that's where she's got them from! She's got loads of them too! I feel terrible! She's just had an oral flea treatment so they are dying... dropping off all over the place though! :( |
But they're DYING, right?! :) I know your news is unsettling, but try and hang in there. Can't have that little one cooking in negativity! |
Vicky, take it easy. Since you are high risk it just mainly means you need to be extra careful and take more precautions. So go, relax, pop in movie, put your feet up, and make HIM wait on you hand and foot! :) |
Hey lady, how are YOU?! Happy Anniversary!!!:) :) :) How'd the survey go? Been wondering all morning! |

I've just having a really awful day |
Vicky, Chin up sweetie. I've never gone through what you have (no kids) so I won't pretend to understand, but I have had a sister and a sil who both went through what were termed "high risk" pregnancies...and this was years ago when things weren't even as advanced as they are today. (my h.r. neice is 28 years old, lol)... So, listen to your doctor, and vent here, I just know all will be fine. And speaking of fleas.....YOU ARE NOT A BAD MOMMY see my next post;) |
Ladies of the thread....meet Blue 3 Attachment(s) Blue is the little rescue guy I picked up in D.C. today. He was taken to a vet to be put to sleep (shhhhh, don't tell him) because of a severe case of flea dermatitis. Apparently he had fleas and was never treated. He is on meds now and flea preventative and the vet believes he will have a full recovery. Meanwhile this little 5 lb guy is heading to his foster home tomorrow to regrow his hair and look for a new furever home. OMG, he's so cute and has such a sweet personality. |
