I'm multi-tasking. I'm watching The Godfather on Bravo, working on a communications plan for work, listening to my mom grumble behind me as she sifts through stacks of genealogy documents and listening to the Yorkie at my feet snore!

Genealogy!?!?!!! I used to be so absorbed in doing my families' genalogies that I did nothing else. I've cooled my jets for awhile cause I got a little crazy wth it.

Tink's ear infection is better today. She's not digging at it at all thank goodness. Poor little thing was miserable yesterday.

Is anyone still out there in thread-land?

I am here. Re-sizing pics I took of the pups today so I can post them...waiting for my ducklings to get dry after their too late in the evening swim so I can go to bed LOL I am afraid if I don't make sure they are good and warm before I go they won't be here in the morning.

Hey Ozzie's person. So, you're from St. Louis. My family was from the Alton Illinois area and we've slowly made our way north to Carlinville and Bloomington and I just kept going to Wisconsin.

I'll be in St. Louis over the holiday when I visit my sister in Carlinville.

Hey, that's cool. Since you're from the Alton area, you'll recognize where I live: Granite City. (Doesn't mean anything if you aren't from the area. )

We were practically neighbors! My mom is doing some of the genealogy for my grandmother's side. My grandfather's side -- which we have also done extensively -- were all over Jersey County.

Whereabouts in St. Louis are your family now?

I've been working on Papi's book. I have almost everything printed out and cut out, now it's getting it assembled.

I've not heard back from Vicky (Gypsy & Me) lately who was going to help me get a virtual version of it online. If I don't hear from her soon , I may try photobucket myself. I hope to have the book done by this time next weekend so I can get it in the mail by the holiday.

Hey! I think I still have cousins in Granite City.

My sister lives in Carlinville and I'll be visiting her. We always go into St. Louis to visit friends and shop!
