Oh, I'm glad she found a home for him. I always worry when people turn dogs over to the humane society or ASPCA. I know they are treated well, but so often they have to euthenize them if they don't have space or find a home.

I figured that being a puppy she wouldn't have a problem finding a home for him. Oh well, I wish I could had told you earlier.

Thanks Veg for checking for me. I appreciate you running all the way down there to find out.

My daughter is not answering the phone, so I assume they are still sleeping or else up and on the way to do something fun. They were thinking of going to an event at the local humane shelter today where they can meet the dogs they have.

I bought a gate for my kitchen to lock Tink in there instead of her crate everyday. But it doesn't fit so I'm gonna look at XPens. Anyone have one?

You are welcome. I have gates because I keep Jerome in the kitchen and I also leave his crate in the gated area.

I think I'm going to take a nap. I wans't able to sleep last night and I'm very sleepy, but before that I'm going to call the emergency clinic to see how my baby is doing.

Hi Lori! We've been busy on here you bet. I thought maybe I had found a doggie for Sarah but it didn't work out. So, we'll just keep looking.

She just called and they are at a "meet and greet" at Wee Rescues. She is looking at the furbabies.

LOL don't we know it! I don't think I have ever got through all the new threads posted in a day here. It is hard to pick and choose which threads to read. Somehow amazingly I have managed to miss the most recent drama, and I think that was a good thing! LOL

I have been multi-tasking all day...now I got dishes soaking and I have treats to finish up tonight so they will be cooled enough for me to package tomorrow for Monday morning shipping. :)

I just got back from rehearsal. I'm running sound this week. I stopped at Petsmart on the way home to get Tink some canned Nutro to mix with her breakfast kibble and they DON'T HAVE ANY UNTIL THE END OF JULY! A manufacturer shortage.

Now I have to find it somewhere else. I only have one can left and that will only last three days. I just add it to her breakfast. I was thinking of weaning her off of it next month, but OH OH. I hope I can find some somewhere tomorrow after church or Monday at Mounds.

Poor little Tink will have to cold turkey otherwise.

I haven't heard from my daughter about how the meet and greet at the rescue went. I should call her.

Hey everyone :) I have to go to DH family reunion tomorrow and I made this Apple Dip that Is so yummy :) It is called apple pie dip!

sure :) thought you would never ask ;) 1 pkg cream cheese softened well
1/4 Cup sour cream
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
pinch of salt

Whip with hand mixer, serve with apples, granny smith are good, strawberries . Tastes like sour cream apple pie

I made a double batch for the reunion.:)
It is very easy!

we do this one every year so I am used to it. It is more like a nice day at the park the kids love the playground.
