Thanks for asking. I'm going crazy. :crazy: :crazy: I can't take enough pain meds to make it feel really better or put me to sleep cause then I will run out. So I am in middle man's land - I have pain and can't do anything with the arm, but I'm awake enough to know I'm bored out of my skull and can't really DO anything. I'm so darned bored!!! HELP! :rollingey

Yes, I am glad I asked............but so sorry you are so miserable. What can I get ya? How can I help??

I know exactly what you are saying about the pain meds. I have some back problems that come and go and the doctor gave me some pain meds, Ultracet and a muscle relaxer (Skelaxin) and when I take the combo, it really helps. Fortunately for me the doctor gave me plenty and the "mail order pharmacy" sent me more than I would use in a year!!! LOL

So how long the Dr. say this "serious pain" you are experiencing going to last??? Or could you tell him to give ya something a tad stonger??? Sometimes you can call a pharmacy, tell them what you are taking and ask them if you could take some tylenole or Motrin along with the pain meds. Sometimes they will tell you it would not be harmful but would make you sleepy. I know I've done that a couple of times with hubby when he had surgery and it really really helped him..........BUT I called the pharmacy and talked with the pharmacist. Might be worth a try so you get relief AND don't run out of meds.

So what can I do to help with your boredom????

The dogs would love it since I keep them in full coat!!! Kallie is so hard to get back inside when I take her out potty when it is cool outside.......and we do get a cool snap once in a while. She goes out and lays down and I have to physically go out and pick her up and bring her back in. When it is hot outside, she pottys and runs back into the house for the AC!!! LOL

So you will have to give me another suggestion to help with your boredom!!1

Who are you talking to? ME or Tink's mom??? We both have weddings coming up. Her daughter is getting married in May and my son is getting married in June so we were BOTH trying to find shoes? I will wear same shoes for wedding and reception but want to dye the shoes to match the dress.............guess I need to get a dress first! LOL

That's funny about Kallie. I think I will defy Drs orders tomorrow and go out somewhere. I have no money, but even getting out and driving will be nice. Sitting here alone with no one to talk to is driving me a little insane. My son said he was coming over today but hasn't shown. My sister said she was coming over and she hasn't come either. I was looking forward to their visits - as crazy as they can be! But I CAN take a shower tomorrow! YEA!!!! That will feel good. I got a good look at the incision at it's about 4" long - not too bad. The stitches are inside and there was just surgical tape on the outside.

I don't know - there isn't even really anything good on TV tonight. Maybe I can take out some old DVD's or something. I can't concentrate enough to read, although maybe I will try again....

Hey, is Miami as pretty as it looks on CSI Miami?????

Funny - I was asking Susie - I didn't know your son was getting married. How old is he? Yep, I would guess buying the dress first would be the right way to go... :D

Yes, it is. The beaches are BEAUTIFUL!!! I don't live in Miami though! LOL But I have visited there! I live on the west coast about an hour north of Tampa, Florida!

Hey do you know how to play games on the computer against other people, like a one on one thing???? I've never done it but at least if you know how you can teach me and make yourself useful................or are games not your thing????

He's 25 years old! A handsome dude if I say so myself!!! :D :D He used to look a lot like Ricky Martin when they were both younger! She's really getting a good deal nabbing him!!!!:D

Can't stay and post - going over to a friends to get some help finishing cutting out this dress. Two more to go and I'm done, but can't cut those until they finish dieting!!! What a stupid thing to do two months before the wedding! Gee good thing they didn't ask me my opinion huh?:D

My back just won't let me bend over the table anymore. So, I'm swallowing my pride and getting help.

Glad you're back Morkie4. Omega, call the Dr. and get better or more drugs!! You can't run out or you won't heal properly. If he's any good, he'll help you figure out a solution. Wow, I'm bossy tonight!
