What?!:eek: when my family was all at home there was me, my husband, my Step-son and step-daughter. daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, mother-in-law, 2 grandgaughters, and 2 grandsons. now we
re scattered to the 4 winds and no one comes home for the holidays anymore. So no need for so many place settings.

Hi Tink's Mom...we're fine here...just waiting for the Easter Bunny but I don't think I can wait much longer!

You might give eBay a try. Pfalzgraff is heavy though so you might want to look through the listings and see how other sellers are listing theirs. Some will sell each piece individually and some will list in sets. I have about 100 listings I need to get done someday soon but I've been busy with the house so eBay will have to wait for now.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, it's very heavy. That's why I don't use it anymore. It's been packed in the hutch for 4 years collecting cob webs. I use my $1 a plate dishes from the Dollar General!LOL:D

Well it is just me hubby and Bre and if there is need for more than 8 We break out the fine china IE paper plates LOL.

I used to keep a fine dinner table for the holidays and special occassions and weekends when everyone was home. Now the families are spread so far apart and housekeeping so broken up, I have a hard time doing that anymore. Plus I don't have the house now and my tiny apartment just wouldn't hold them all if they did come at one time.

I dyed some for Tink this morning! I tied some pretty ribbon on some bully sticks and put them and some yogurt drops in a little basket for her. I put it on top of the hutch so she can't see it. We'll see how long it takes her to find it.

I didn't send anything this year for Easter to my daughter. I've just been so busy with everything, it kind of krept up on me.

Thanks for the tip. I registered with them and then read the privacy content, etc... Do you have problems with them sharing your info or putting anything on your computer or anything like that? As I was reading I just wasn't sure about all of it. Tell me your experience with them, ok???? Thanks:)

Hi thread. How are you today? Looks like it's just you and I.

I have some time before I go to dinner, so am just hanging out with my lovely pups. It is frustrating waiting for their hair to get long enough so it isn't popping out of the topknot all the time. :(

My h brought me a yellow lilly plant. What a surprise. It is so pretty and cheerful.

No, I've never had any trouble while using auctiva but I have a good security system on my PC. I've used it for a couple of years now and I've never had any trouble listing, it saves your auctions for you so you can easily relist if you need to and I love the scheduling option...I can type my auctions up when I feel like it and then schedule them to start when I want them to...eBay charges for that but auctiva doesn't. I can store tons of pictures and add them to my auctions just by clicking on them and they have so many templates to make my auction page look nice, they have different colors and fonts too...it's so much easier than going through eBay and I've never been slowed down by a heavy listing time like you can be on eBay. I've never gotten any spam or junk mail since joining so I don't think they share your info that way.

No chocolate for me - but I had plenty of barbeque and Fritos and fruit salad at the benefit. When I left we had raised $18,000. Cool!

Too cold for ice cream?? :eek: Girl...it's never too cold for ice cream or too hot for coffee! Pecan pie sounds good but all I have on hand is some lo-carb chocolate ice cream...I can add a few almonds and it will be great!

What kind of lo-carb? Is it pretty good? I did the Atkin diet a couple of years ago and lost 56 lbs. Gained most of it back when I had to go on massive prednisone doses.:( One of these days I\'ll get it back off.
