I bought 4 onesies for Tink to wear after her surgery tomorrow. I tried on eof them on her and it fit nicely. So I cut a poop hole in a different one and then tried it on her to see if I got it right and it's too short!
Of course the one I tried on her last night is just a little longer than ALL the others. I would have to pick that one. So, I'll make it into a T-Shirt and the other's I'll take back and get the next larger size. But I won't have them for tomorrow.

Oh goodness...........she'll be a lot more settled when you bring her home tomorrow night! She'll just feel like resting. I know she is going to give you that "look" when you drop her off...........but stand strong !!!!! Tough Love!:p :p

I can't keep her ears taped up. She keeps shaking her head and teatng the tape off. ARGH ARGH ARGH AND SHE WON"T HOLD STILL!

It probably feels so unnatural for her ears to be pinned up! Especially when they have just layed there before. She's probably just unsure to the new "feel" of her ears being taped. Poor baby! It's going to be tuff to keep them taped!

I'm sure you're right. One of them wants to stand up just fine but the other lays off to the side. She doesn't mind having them taped individually, but when I put the bridge on she shakes her head until if comes off.

I've spent a ton of time today putting it back on over and over. Grrr.:p :(

Maybe change the bridge and not make it so short between the ears until she gets use to having the bridge. Maybe it is just too much of a change and feels very uncomfortable for her so maybe if you grandually make a shorter and shorter bridge, progressively getting the ears up straighter to where you want them, she will tolerate it better.

Yes, I thought of that this moring and made it longer. Seemed to help for awhile and then - ... oh well.

Ihave to find a map to get to the vet we're going to. She's not my vet - she's the rescue ver I had to agree to use. So I've never been there before and it's about 90 minutes from here.

Wowser, 90 minutes............that's a really long way........are you having good weather right now to drive that far???? Do a mapquest direction map, they are usually pretty helpful! What time do you have to have her there????

Yep, I googled it. I just wanted to be sure it was the hwy 13 I thought it was. Sometimes it hard to tell if it's county or state.
It's easy to get to thankfully.
I feel like a terrible monster taking her there.

While I'm waiting for the vet to decide if I can take her home, I'm gonna drive down to Baraboo, about 30 minutes I think, and go take another look at the place where I got my dress for Sarah's wedding. I may want to trade it in for something more Spring like.

Oh I wouldn't feel terrible..........they will do a good job I am sure. Not to worry!!! They wouldn't be around if they didn't do good work! Do you know if they use staples, or stitches??? Kallie had two rows of inside stitches. So I didn't have to take her back. What time can you pick her up???? AND what are you going to do in the meantime???

I don't know about stitches - I didn't think to ask. But I would think they would have said if they were staples - they know I'm coming from a distance.

Oh, the vet techs each have one of her sisters! I'll get to see them. They are also black, but they have straight hair. Lisa said they aren't as cute as Tink.
