Aww, Susie. I know how much you hate shopping.;) Have you found a new suitcase? And, may I ask what exotic locale you'll be jetting off to?

I did find a new suitcase here in town at Marshalls for a fantastic price! You know how I love sales - this one was $200 marked down to $50! Not my favorite color (burnt orange), buy I'll easily find it in the baggage area.:D

Tink and I are going to Austin to visit my daughter the first week of September. I'm very excited! I bought Tink a new carrier 'cause she outgrew her other. This will be her first airplane trip - gulp. I hope she won't try to dig her way out of the carrier.

Oh dear! I've not been to TK for a long time. I'm trying to respond to the messages that are posted and I can only sit for so long. Poor little thread. I think you very nearly starved again.:eek: Thankgoodness kathy popped in to take care of you.

Oooh, funny you should ask. I made a fresh pot about an hour ago. It's still good, want some? Attachment 243243

Hope you survived the rain that came through by you. We didn't get but about 3 inches I think. Getting some more now but I don't know what is expected - didn't have the weather on tonight.

How is everything by you?

Well, let's see...almost 7 inches of rain today...roads and cornfields flooded, park down the block is flooded...the lake is flooding and our boat is almost on the dock again, neighbor's boat floated out of his lift so we corralled it and tied it up for him...other neighbors docks are under water but we built ours above the water so it's fine and the lake (which is fed by the river) hasn't even crested yet. Our house sits up on a hill so we're fine as far as that goes. Hope they open the flood gates a bit more tonight to get some of this water moving along. I hope you guys don't get it that bad!

Thanks for the coffee...my pot stays on for 4 hours so 1 hour old is just fine!

I see some things never change..... you still have that wonderful sense of humor. :rolleyes: M&M's and I get along very well, also... it's always nice to have a friend to count on. :D (I'm talking about M&Ms....LOL)
